Arrived at my appointment at 9:30 for oil change. Gave my car to service guy. Went and waited in reception area. At 10:15 I looked up and saw my car parked on service drive. At 10:30 I saw my lights flash. I thought they were looking to find my car for service. Nothing occurred. At 10:45 i decided I had waited long enough and packed up to leave. At 10:50 I got a text that my car was complete and there was a video of my service. All the video had was a picture of my cabin filter with a caption looks good. Finally I got a text to come pay for my service. Why should it take almost 45 minutes to deliver car after service is complete? More
I have been going to AutoNation for over 20 years to both purchase and have cars serviced. I trust the service center to ensure my car is safe and road worthy. The rare times I’ve had any kind of issue Keith Hennessy, the manager at the service center, has been awesome at determining what the problem is, and then fixing it. It makes me feel that I can really trust that my car is being taken care of at a fair price. More
I went to Auto Nation South Austin to take care of my first oil change. I was there a little early and thankfully they took care of me right away. My service advisor asked me if I had any other issues w first oil change. I was there a little early and thankfully they took care of me right away. My service advisor asked me if I had any other issues with my vehicle and said it would not take long. I was able to wait for my vehicle and did not wait but maybe 20 or 25 min. It was a great experience and my service advisor was super nice and friendly. She brought me my paperwork and I was out the door. Thank you for the good service! More
I've bought two brand new cars here from Alex. I came back specifically to deal with him. He makes buying a car fun (as it should be). No high pressure. Daniel in Finance gets your paperwork done quickly and easily too. I'm not a huge fan of getting anything done at the dealer (besides buying the car), but AutoNation's Service Department is pretty darn good. Our Prius came with free oil changes for life. Using only synthetic oil, that's a great reason for bringing it in every 10k miles. There are some things that only the dealer can do and I've had pretty good luck there. More
October 9, 2023. Warning puncture tire light on, vehicle dropped off at 7:30am. Ticket written up to have tire repaired, told vehicle would be ready for pickup 4p.m., Warning puncture tire light on, vehicle dropped off at 7:30am. Ticket written up to have tire repaired, told vehicle would be ready for pickup 4p.m., they would call. After 4 p.m., called the dealership to find the status of the vehicle and put on hold for some time until they could find out what happened. Told the vehicle was not ready, tire was not repaired, would be ready by 6pm. Went to the dealership, 6pm, to pick up the vehicle, only to find that they had not worked on it. Promised vehicle would be ready Tuesday, next morning at 8am, they would call. The vehicle would be washed, and there would be no charge on tire repair. Next day, did not receive call, waited until 9:30am. to call to find out that someone wrote on the ticket. There was another problem that needed attention on the vehicle. All repairs completed, pick up vehicle after 1pm. Good group of courtesy and hard-working people. Dealership has a problem with communication in-house and with customers. More
