Do not buy or get your Toyota serviced here! The service manager Colin Macklewicz actually said I don't work for Toyota I work for AutoNation and we aren't accountable to Toyota! They lie and The service manager Colin Macklewicz actually said I don't work for Toyota I work for AutoNation and we aren't accountable to Toyota! They lie and do not stand by their warranty. We bought a Toyota Prius from AutoNation. Since it was under warranty we had the work done at Phillips Toyota Leesbury FL as it is 2 hours closer. First we had to have grill shutters replaced. Then several months later Phillips Toyota informs us that the car is missing a $400.00 engine shield and they can not replace it as it should have been on the car when it was sold. They told us the car had been in an accident and thats why the part was missing and why they had to replace the grill shutters (but that was not told to us at that time.) When we called the service manager Colin Macklewicz at AutoNation he told us Philips should take care of it as they had done work on it before an they must have taken it off. When we told him they stated they did not and it was AutoNations problem he said they would take care of it and have it done in an hour. Three hours go by, no call and no return call back to us, another 2 hrs go by we call the service manager Colin Macklewicz no answer no call back. Show up at 4:55 and told by Tim in service they do not have the part have to drive 2 hrs back tomorrow. Talk to Colin and they have the part but didn't put it on as we have to pay $200.00 for the part and he need our okay. His answer as to why he didn't put the part on went from: Its not my fault Phillips didn't put the part back on, to you waited to long to get a hold of me, to I'm busy trying to do the job of 5 people, to I don't work for Toyota I work for AutoNation and we aren't accountable to Toyota, to we never asked what "take care" of means. When I said you must really be having a bad day as this problem is not worth screaming and saying these types of things he said you do not know what arguing or screaming if you think thats what is happening. After we paid to have the part put on he finally gave us the managers first name only put would not provide contact info. We finally got the managers email address off LinkedIn, Chafik Amrani and emailed him and asked if they did not believe they were responsible for this could he tell us who we should get ahold of, he never got back to us. Do NOT TRUST ANYONE at this place! More
