This is long but worth the read. On May 20,2022 I purchased a 2017 RAV4 hybrid with AWD. My salesman was Scott Cannariato. He was a joy to work with and may trading in my 2011 RAV4 and buying the 2017 fairly painless. ( Let's face it buying a car these days and paying $$$ is never painless) Scott was professional with a pinch of good ole boy with manners.( As a Mom to 5 sons he charmed me and warmed my heart) He went the extra mile when in my excitement I left a few things in my old RVA4 and notified me. He even grabbed my Guardian Angel pin i had on my headliner! Thanks Scott. So ask for SCOTT CANNARIATIO when you go. part 2... On July 28, 2022, I had my first 5,000 mile oil change and yes, I get around for a little ole senior citizen. I was greeted quickly by another Scott, who wanted to know about my appointment and if I wanted to trade in, I laughed and said No, I just bought it!! Christie Marin, my service Adviser, greeted me like an old friend, listened to my concerns and acknowledged them. I had mentioned my driver's side headlight being out and a missing center hubcap. As I was waiting, I went over to the Used Car building and they helped me once again by printing out all my paperwork on my sale as once again I had put my originals in a safe place and couldn't find them... another dang senior moment. After a bit of a wait, while I worked on my crochet project, I was done and free to go. I gathered my belongings and proceeded back to Riverview. I noticed that my headlight was still out AND once again I had left something at the dealership! Trust me I AM NOT pleased with all these "senior moments" but thankfully, my AN Toyota crew takes it in stride. I left message for Christie and texted Scott as time was of the essence, I had just bought that cup! Scott sent me a picture within minutes!! once again my hero. So back I went on the 29th, collected my cup and proceeded to the parts department to get my lightbulb and hubcap. I wasn't going to bother service for something I easily do. I saw Christie and told what I doing, she immediately got in my car and drove it around to the Service department and within 15 minutes I had my car back thanks to my service tech Abubacarr and Christie free of charge!! I love my crew, Scott, Christie and Abubacarr!! More
Dealer staff was very professional and efficient. Took my RAV4 in for and oil change and tire rotation which took about an 1 1/2. I unfortunately had the bad experience of having to buy a $4000 new hybrid battery. It had to be ordered and was told that it would be about a week and it was a week. They were able to get the battery in tak $4000 new hybrid battery. It had to be ordered and was told that it would be about a week and it was a week. They were able to get the battery in take it for a test drive and do the inspection of my tires brakes etc. Because of the cost of the battery I think it ended up being $5200+ with tax they didn’t charge me for the oil change or cleaning out my drain problem on my sunroof which I extremely appreciated. Drop off was a little slow because it was busy and pick up was a breeze overall they did a really good job. I felt they were very professional and very organized More
I had my 1 year vehicle maintenance done. They did a 28 point check, and an oil change. They also had a recall that required the computer to be reprogrammed. The Service associate said it should take approximately 2 hours to complete. It took over 4 hours! The Service associate also said the Technicians don’t always log into the system, so there was no way, other than walk to the service area, to get a status update. Very poor communication skills between departments. More
