This dealership will be my pick when we go shopping for a new car. I was more than impressed with the friendly, professional handling of my RAV4's body repair. The car is now like new and was finished days new car. I was more than impressed with the friendly, professional handling of my RAV4's body repair. The car is now like new and was finished days before other estimates had promised. I could not be more pleased. I came to the dealership initially because Rusty Gentry worked there. I had learned to respect and trust him when we purchased our new RAV4 at a different dealership. Now that Rusty has relocated at the Mall of GA dealership..... I decided to follow a man I had faith in. Their collision center is a place I would take my car for the first estimate from now on. Rick Eves is an excellent manager. You have a customer for life. Thanks. More
I took my wife's 4 Runner in to get looked at because the check engine light was on. Bill Ezell-assist service manager, told me it was the catalytic converter and the price tag was about $1000 but he'll give check engine light was on. Bill Ezell-assist service manager, told me it was the catalytic converter and the price tag was about $1000 but he'll give me a 10% discount. I told him to fix it because my back was against the wall, the car failed emissions because of the check engine light. So, he calls me 5 hours later to tell me that his tech could not get a "piece" he needed off of the old converter to put on the new one and in trying to remove it he stripped it. Bill told me the additional cost about be about $100(almost the exact amount of the discount he offered). I asked him why am I responsible for your tech stripping the "piece" and why are you using an old "piece" for a new converter. His response, "These things happen." So, after a 10 minute or so back and forth I told him to go ahead. He calls me later to tell me that the car was ready, I asked him if my wife had mentioned the brakes. His response,"Oh, I forgot! Tell her to bring it back tomorrow and I'll check them for her." We had recently had pads put on at the MOG Toyota and the brakes were making noise when stopping so my wife and I were sure that the problem was minor and Mall of Georgia Toyota would take care of it. My wife waited nearly an hour for her keys and when she came home and I looked at the receipt, the 10% discount was not applied. I called Bill to ask him why the discount was not applied and his response, "Oh I'm sorry, I forgot!" ***I am NOT making this up!*** He said he would refund my card. The next day it just gets worst. My wife brings the car back, after about 6 hours of know word I call Bill to ask if my wife's car was ready and he said, "one of the rotors are bad." The price tag is about $150.00. Take the car home and it's making a very distinct humming noise. It's the holiday season and my wife and I are very busy so we did not have time to take the car back for about two weeks. Take the car back and they say it's the rear axle...price tag about $1800.00. I spoke with Timmy Acklin-Service manager and he was very rude and unprofessional! I admit I was very upset about how they were bleeding me with the repairs and he said, "I'm not gonna sit here and argue wit you!" I said that an argument takes at least two people and he should not say a word but listen...I am a dissatisfied customer and he should listen to my concerns instead of trying to talk over me. I spoke with his boss Dave fletcher and he was very professional and he did listen but said he could do the job for $1400.00, which is not a deal at all. My final thoughts...I am getting robbed! My car was not making the noise for over 100,000 miles, we drop it off and 6 hours later we hear a noise and they are taking no responsibility. I think that Mall of Georgia Toyota are dishonest people that are overcharging. I think that they fix the original problem and break something else so you'll bring your car back. This is what I think but how can I prove it! Do not go to this place for anything! More
I purchased a Toyota Corolla new a few years back and I have needed parts and service since. The parts pricing is through the roof but the worst part is the rude and indifferent attitude of the staff. It have needed parts and service since. The parts pricing is through the roof but the worst part is the rude and indifferent attitude of the staff. It's almost comical how bad the service is. My brother and I always go with Toyota for personal and company vehicles but we will never purchase from this particular dealership again. Just the high number of complaints on a simple Yahoo search alone tells me to steer clear. More
I have had continued problems with my RAV4's passenger window not working correctly. It is an intermittent problem. Took it 2 times to Toyota Mall of GA to get fixed. Spent hours there for them to tell window not working correctly. It is an intermittent problem. Took it 2 times to Toyota Mall of GA to get fixed. Spent hours there for them to tell me they wouldn't diagnose until I walked in and it wasn't working at that point. Stopped working again, took it to Marietta Toyota, which they did diagnose and said it was a bad motor. Now waiting for motor to come in to have fixed. So, 4 times to dealership, hours of lost work because Toyota Mall of GA wouldn't do their job. Dave Fletcher - Manager unprofessional. More
Friendly, professional service carried out in a reasonable amount of time despite extremely busy volume. These folks are good to do business with. When we first moved to The Atlanta area, we shop reasonable amount of time despite extremely busy volume. These folks are good to do business with. When we first moved to The Atlanta area, we shopped this dealership for my wife's new car. The sales staff was excellent without the blatant high pressure tactics. Our cars have always been serviced there and we feel there is added value in having a delership familliar with the particular wear paterens each commute inflicts. More
I purchased my vehicle from Toyota Mall of Georgia in 2001. At the time, they were new and had a great attitude towards their customers. They were also very reasonable and honest. They were purchased by 2001. At the time, they were new and had a great attitude towards their customers. They were also very reasonable and honest. They were purchased by another company a few years ago, and they are now the lowest of the low. They are extremely dishonest, disrespectful, arrogant, and blatantly try to take advantage of people. I recently experienced a transmission problem with my vehicle I purchased there in 2001 and took my car to the dealership's service department because I was in the area and was afraid the car was going to stall in traffic. I was already leary of going there because I had previously experienced their bad attitude and dishonesty, but I did anyway. I soon regretted it!! After spending 20 minutes looking at my car, Tim LLoyd, the service technician told me I needed to pay $4700 for a REBUILT transmission from Toyota!!! My car isn't even worth that much to begin with!! The next day, I made some calls and found a reliable shop nearby who towed my car for FREE from Toyota Mall of GA and rebuilt my transmission for less than HALF what Toyota Mall of GA wanted me to pay!!! When I spoke to the Service Manager at Toyota MOG and told him how disappointed I was in the dishonesty and lack of integrity of his department I told him that because of my treatment, I would not be returning to his establishment. His response? "Good"!! Unbelievable... DO NOT LET THEM TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU TOO!!! More
