Appalling Experience at AutoNation Toyota Leesburg – Completely Unacceptable I am a single mom, and what happened at AutoNation Toyota Leesburg was one of the most infuriating, disrespectful, and dis Completely Unacceptable I am a single mom, and what happened at AutoNation Toyota Leesburg was one of the most infuriating, disrespectful, and disheartening experiences I have ever had at any business. Before coming in, we were clearly promised over the phone that the vehicle we were looking at included a 7-year / 100,000-mile warranty. That promise is the only reason we made the trip. But once we arrived, that warranty suddenly “didn’t exist.” The story changed repeatedly, and it felt like nothing short of a bait-and-switch. As a single mom trying to make a responsible financial decision, I felt completely misled and taken advantage of. Then came the finance office—where the situation went from bad to outrageous. The Finance Manager we dealt with was, in our opinion, astonishingly unprofessional. She spoke to us in a condescending, dismissive tone, acting as if we were the ones who didn’t understand what was happening. Her attitude was disrespectful, her explanations were unclear, and the way she talked down to us was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced in any professional environment. She wasted three hours of our life and then was dismissive when she didn’t get her way. It was truly appalling. When we thought it couldn’t get worse, a manager came in—not to fix the situation, but to pressure us even harder into buying a warranty package we explicitly said we did not want. Instead of providing help, he acted arrogant, wasted our time bragging about himself for no reason, and the smell of cigarettes was so overwhelming it filled the entire office. The whole interaction felt dismissive, aggressive, and completely inappropriate. On top of that, they handed us only one key for the vehicle and then ignored me every time I asked about getting the second key I should have received. As a single mom, needing reliability and support—not indifference and excuses—this was beyond frustrating. The experience was so upsetting that my mom cried on the drive home out of anger, disappointment, and disbelief at how poorly we were treated. We walked out absolutely certain of one thing: we will never return to AutoNation Toyota Leesburg. And we will never, ever recommend this dealership to anyone. What we experienced was unprofessional, disrespectful, and utterly unacceptable from start to finish. Avoid this place. They do not value honesty, professionalism, or their customers—especially those who are vulnerable and simply trying to make a responsible decision for their family. More
