Been going to Autonation Irvine for two years now. At first, I was pleased with Chris, who was my first service advisor. He got promoted and passed me on to Donald, who was also OK. Then Donald left in first, I was pleased with Chris, who was my first service advisor. He got promoted and passed me on to Donald, who was also OK. Then Donald left in January 2022, and I was passed on to Braulio. He was OK, but not nearly as personable, knowledgeable or service-oriented as Chris. Overall, I feel that this dealership, after a year of COVID is now pushing more "unnecessary" services. The price seems to have gone up too. I really liked them at first, but now, I'm thinking of looking for another dealership. More

Service Advisor Eric Rodriguez tried to rip off my son. Trying to take advantage of pricing because, he is just a kid with minimum experience with auto repairs. My son took in his 2020 Toyota Prius prime b Trying to take advantage of pricing because, he is just a kid with minimum experience with auto repairs. My son took in his 2020 Toyota Prius prime because the seats won’t go back up and unfortunately as per dealer, it is out of warranty. Eric the service advisor tells my son it cost $189 for diagnosing the problem, which my son agrees to the pricing to find out what is causing the problem. After a couple of hours later the service advisor calls my son and tells him, the technician took out the seats and could not pinpoint the problem. They would have to open up the seat and go in further and would cost more money (couple of hundred of dollars, up to $600). At that point my son decides to pull out the car, cause he feels he is getting ripped off, Eric then tells him your still at $189 for bringing in the car. Why would my son pay $189 for them not diagnosing the problem? The original agreement was $189 to pinpoint the problem. We got Chris the manager involved to release the vehicle. Very poor service, price gouging, no wonder your service center is empty! More
Have purchased my last two cars with them and I think they have great customer service for the most part. They try hard to work with me so I can purchase the car and feel like I’ve got a great deal. Scheduled an appointment for routine service for 945 and requested expedited service Bc I have medically fragile/special needs baby with me. When I got there there was no record of my appointment but was t requested expedited service Bc I have medically fragile/special needs baby with me. When I got there there was no record of my appointment but was told I will be accommodated and will be out by 1130. Manager asked for “express team”. They allowed me to use an expired coupon which was appreciated. But 1130 came and went. At 12pm I asked how much longer Bc I have to pick up my other child from daycare was told 10 min and that I was never guaranteed to be done by 1130. At 1220 still no car. I had to firmly tell the manager to get my car NOW Bc I’m late to pick up my kid. Unnecessarily stressful. . More
Been buying and servicing cars there for15+ years. Never had such poor service. Too many frivolous service recommendations….RR ATF when done there 20,000 miles earlier, service brakes when all measured 8 m had such poor service. Too many frivolous service recommendations….RR ATF when done there 20,000 miles earlier, service brakes when all measured 8 mm 10,000 miles there earlier, and 6 other items totaling over $3,000. Went to get another opinion at a nation-wide tire dealer who then recommended addressing only one item on Toyota’s list, but not necessarily immediately. My reason for bringing car in was for oil and filter change and filter now leaking oil. More
Everything was ok except that the time frame that they gave was pretty inaccurate. Instead of 2-2 1/2 hour of wait, I’ve waited a little over 3 1/2 hours. gave was pretty inaccurate. Instead of 2-2 1/2 hour of wait, I’ve waited a little over 3 1/2 hours. More
