I bought my FJ here in December of 2013. It has ben here for every required service. They have taken it in at the last minute, as well as when I have been late to the scheduled appointment. A couple of times it has taken longer than promised but that has been over a nine year span. Only once did they have to keep it over night and they gave me a car to drive as it was supposed to be done in 1 day. No business is perfect and delivering good customer service for any dealer over a nine year span can not be easy given employee turnover. With over 110K miles on the FJ, I anticipate that there may be greater annual service costs and they have been great in explaining those costs to me. I do not work with a particular service advisor, I work with the available service advisor at the time that the car requires service. Until proven otherwise, I trust their service department to hire the right people. I had stayed away from Toyota for over 20 years as a result of a bad experience in the 80’s with a 4-runner but really wanted a FJ. I’m happy with my decision to purchase the FJ from Auto Nation and to have all its services done there. The only reason I wouldn’t purchase another vehicle from there is that there is nothing in their current line up that I’m interested in. They discontinued the FJ which was one of the only true 4wd vehicles in the market that came with outstanding reliability at a reasonable price. I’m anxious to see the new MR2 and hope there is a FJ like placement in the works. More

I took my truck to my "local dealer" who told me they could not do the 5,000 mile service on my truck because they didn't have the equipment. SERIOUSLY! There was also 2 recall matters and a problem could not do the 5,000 mile service on my truck because they didn't have the equipment. SERIOUSLY! There was also 2 recall matters and a problem with my Android Auto. I went to Irvine Toyota. They were great! My Service Advisor, James Reyes, was polite and informative. They got the service and other matters taken care of pronto. Kate coordinated my ride back to the dealer to pick up my truck. She was awesome. Quick and kept in touch with me. The entire matter easy to manage. More
