I received outstanding customer service from Gilbert yesterday. Gilbert, and the AutoNation Team turned off my "Check Engine" light, and now I may pass the Smog Test. I started taking my car here instead of the Huntington Beach Toyota once I moved to Irvine. Appointments don’t matter and the past 2 times I arrived to pick up my car, I had to wait around for approximately 45mins to pick up my car after I was told it was done. The last time I was there, my tech was short and rude and my car was damaged and the service manager said that they would contact the body shop that they use and get back to me but it’s almost been 2 weeks. I’ve called to get an answer as to what are the next steps and get put on hold and hung up on as it’s clear they are trying to dodge responsibility. They take pictures of your car during intake in case of damage, but the pictures of my car magically disappeared. Waste of time. Terrible service. Take your car elsewhere if you value it and your time. More
The service has diminished steadily over the five years I’ve been going here. My first appointment was canceled the night before by a staff member, I’ve never had this happen before. Unacceptable. If I didn’t have prepaid service, I would never come back. Costs for services not covered by warranty are extremely high. Will be looking for a new mechanic once my warranty expires. More
