I have taken my car there since I purchased it in 2017. All services have been performed in a timely manner and I have received good communication from them. In general, I was never impressed with their service, but not disappointed either. This changed in my last two visits. On my second-to-last visit, I told the service specialist that I would be waiting for my car to be ready in the lobby. After 3 hours, I looked for him and he acted very surprised and embarrassed that I was still there - it was obvious that he had forgotten to call me. It happens, I understand. Unfortunately, he did not even attempt to apologize. When I asked if he had forgotten about me, he changed the subject... I did not feel respected. More recently, on my last visit, I took my car there to be serviced and to check an error message. I was told that it would cost me around $200 to check the problem. When it was time to pick up the car, I was told that the problem could not be fixed because the sensor had been moved out of place as a result of an accident. I was supposed to take my car to a body shop first. Fine. Except that my car was never in an accident. When I told the service specialist this, it was clear that he did not believe me. When I tried to better understand the problem and what I could do to fix it, he simply repeated the same explanation: I needed to take the car to the body shop that fixed it after the accident - in other words, he did not believe me and was not listening to me. After pressing for an alternative explanation for the problem and getting the same nonsensical response, I gave up. Again, I left AutoNation feeling disrespected for the second time in a row. In addition, I had to pay $200 for a diagnosis that did not fix the problem or lead me to a clear path to solving the problem. A day or so later, I received a message from AutoNation with a link to a video from the service team - "this is great!," I thought. "I will finally see where the problem is!" Unfortunately, the video (a great idea, in principle) was useless: it only showed me that my tires were in good shape. It did not show me a single thing they worked on or, more importantly, where the faulty sensor was located and what I could do about it. Sigh. Needless to say, I did not feel good about leaving over $1200 there to pay for the car's service. More

I’ve been taking my vehicle here for a few years and all is gods thus far. The only thing I encourage is to keep your awesome shuttle man. The Uber drivers could not pick me up twice and it took over an h is gods thus far. The only thing I encourage is to keep your awesome shuttle man. The Uber drivers could not pick me up twice and it took over an hour and finally Thomas sent me your shuttle guy - he knew exactly where I was and came immediately. He knows the entire area!!! More

A free shuttle to and from my home nearby was just awesome- I’m so pleased and will be bringing my Prius back to Autonation Irvine for care :) More
