Took my vehicle for 5000 mile service and a complaint of a rattle coming from the engine compartment on a 4Runner with 24,000 miles. The service writer told me I needed to wait to 10,000 miles for an oil ch a rattle coming from the engine compartment on a 4Runner with 24,000 miles. The service writer told me I needed to wait to 10,000 miles for an oil change, which I was never told by any mechanic ever, having owned a 4Runner for 18 years. But they proceeded to want to sell me 5 different “flushes” they recommended for $900. They completed the service and told me the mechanic said the rattle was a”tickle” and nothing to worry about. But they wanted to sell me 2 more different services for $400. Irvine Toyota seems to be in the business of trying to sell you services not needed but also blowing off complaints about the vehicle probably because it’s still under warranty because they won’t make any money on the service. Definitely my last visit to this dealership. More

We brought our RAV4 to the AutoNation Toyota service department to have our front brake rotors resurfaced. The car would pulse when we applied the brakes. They discovered the root cause of the rotor w department to have our front brake rotors resurfaced. The car would pulse when we applied the brakes. They discovered the root cause of the rotor warp. It was an over-tightened pad pin. So they not only remedied the problem but also discovered the root cause. I highly recommend Irvine Toyota. More
