I had the pleasure of working with Andy V. at AutoNation in Irvine, and he was hands-down the best car sales representative I've ever dealt with. His communication was excellent—friendly, kind at AutoNation in Irvine, and he was hands-down the best car sales representative I've ever dealt with. His communication was excellent—friendly, kind, and easy to work with. Andy was straightforward and honest with all the information, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Purchased a vehicle as a gift for my mother-in-law and the process when I finally had shown up to purchase was not great. I contacted you guys with a specific car in mind, I dealt with Danny Rodriguez. Af the process when I finally had shown up to purchase was not great. I contacted you guys with a specific car in mind, I dealt with Danny Rodriguez. After coming to a price, the car arrived and I showed up to purchase it. Everything was smooth up until this point, felt super awkward the entire interaction with Danny. Very quiet and 0 small talk. No big deal though, as I prefer to get in and out fast anyways. Other than that, they tried to add two additional charges to the invoice for an additional $1.2k that were not on our signed documents I had within our email, for random upsell packages. When I mentioned it they told me it must have been within the invoice email (which it was not), they promptly removed it once I mentioned it I needed to purchase insurance on the spot, and Danny was very helpful for that. Once I’m on the phone with the insurance company, he’s no where to be found, I tried calling him as he was visibly at the finance desks 200 feet I front of me, and he kept hanging up the calls. After waiting 10-15 minutes, I had to go walk up to obtain the VIN so we could proceed. Rest of process went fine and we closed the deal. I leave my car on the lot so my girlfriend can come pick it up the next day and surprise her mom… they refused to give her a bow for the car after saying they needed to call Danny for approval. Once they called him they tell my girlfriend “actually we don’t have any bows here” After spending $46k on a car, I would assume a ribbon would be the least of the dealers concerns. All around lackluster purchasing experience, would rather spend more money at a different dealership if it meant I could avoid AutoNation More
