On my first visit I did not receive the financing options I was hoping for due to it being my first auto loan and that the vehicle I wanted was used and 12 years old. However, they allowed me to reserve the vehicle with a refundable deposit and worked with me to help find a new way to drive away in the exact SUV I wanted. The sales staff was very welcoming and quick to offer water or coffee or whatever could make the standard inevitable wait one must experience at any dealership as comfortable as possible. Ali and Erick were the two reps I dealt with most and they both seemed more interested in my interest than trying to benefit their own or just trying to make a sale. I felt that they genuinely wanted me to be driving the vehicle I wanted to drive and that if I wasn't 100% satisfied then neither were they. A couple of days after I bought my new used Xterra I had an important sensor fail and the motor would not stay running because of it. The dealership service department happened to be closed over the weekend for Labor Day and I almost had to cancel my road trip travel plans. I contacted my sales rep, and after some troubleshooting, they were able to work with me in getting it repaired elsewhere free of charge over the weekend because I was still within their awesome 5 day/250 mile money back satisfaction with your vehicle guarantee period! Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience at AutoNation in Irvine and would recommend shopping here for your new or used vehicle in the future. Thanks AutoNation! More
BAIT & SWITCH! Wow, awful awful experience. I was buying a used Rav4, so prior to purchasing it I called and spoke with Scott Hodges, the Financial Manager, to conf Wow, awful awful experience. I was buying a used Rav4, so prior to purchasing it I called and spoke with Scott Hodges, the Financial Manager, to confirm that I would be able to purchase a new car platinum warranty. I gave Scott the VIN number and he confirmed that he could sell me the warranty I was looking for. So I went ahead and bought the Rav4. I came into the dealer and purchased the warranty. 30 days later, Toyota Financial Services rejected my warranty application, saying the car was too old for the new car warranty. I explained that Scott and others at the dealer confirmed that my car would be eligible for the warranty. So TFS said the GM of the dealership needed to call them and ask for an exception. Over 3 months time passes and I cannot get people at Autonation to confirm that they are doing this for me. Anne, another TFS manager, suddenly quits. Another guy who then helping me goes dark. Finally I hear back from Asefi Khalil, who is the director of the Finance Department at Autonation. He said he would take care of it. 30 days later (it is now nearly 6 months since I originally purchased the warranty), I receive the Toyota warranty confirmation packet in the mail. HOWEVER, it is: USED card warranty that: 1) did not have the length of time I had originally purchased (10 years) 2) did not have the mileage I had originally purchased (120,000) 3) had a deductible (the one I had was originally $0 deductible) And now Mr. Asefi has gone silent. The GM, Young Park, thinks that the best way to deal with a customer is to avoid them. THIS DEALERSHIP IS TERRIBLE! More
AIRBAG RECALL FOR SIENNA We had a 2011 Sienna repaired at Irvine Toyota for an airbag recall and wire harness recall the repair was completed on July 25th. After they returned We had a 2011 Sienna repaired at Irvine Toyota for an airbag recall and wire harness recall the repair was completed on July 25th. After they returned the car to us the built in entertainment system and DVD player was not functioning. Steve Smith the service manager stated that the dash was taken apart and electrical work was performed but it just coincidentally broke just after they completed the work. We have been charged $300 for replacement of an electrical component to restore the DVD player and Satellite radio. Irvine Toyota had our car for a total of 13 days including the recall repairs. Steve Smith was extremely uncooperative and took no responsibility for their damage to our car, the poor customer service or how long it took for them to do the work. Do not under any circumstances take your vehicle to Irvine Toyota for any service. Manager Steve Smith is dishonest and unethical. More

don't trust their Service I paid over $400 for various service at AutoNation Toyota Irvine. A week later, my Toyota would not start. AAA technician replaced my battery after I paid over $400 for various service at AutoNation Toyota Irvine. A week later, my Toyota would not start. AAA technician replaced my battery after he showed me the battery testing result (very weak). I then remembered my engine struggled a bit when I tried to start it … a few days before I took the vehicle in for service at this dealer! I spoke, on the phone, to the service manager at AutoNation Toyota Irvine and explained that my paid invoice showed “GBATT BATTERY GREEN GOOD TO GO,” when the truth is, my battery was weak and needed replacement. The Service Manager said he would call me back in 10 minutes but he never did. This is a customer’s worst fear – how can I trust this dealer to do work on my Toyota? It brought back memories many, many years ago when our Toyota wiper got damaged at this dealer (via their car wash) … they didn’t do anything to fix/replace it – they just don’t care. They are dishonest and untrustworthy! More

Horrible and dishonest service We did the 100000 mile service on our Toyota Venza. They car was working perfectly fine and we thought to keep up the maintenance no place is better t We did the 100000 mile service on our Toyota Venza. They car was working perfectly fine and we thought to keep up the maintenance no place is better that the dealer. Wrong!!! Originally we had to be the transmission and engine oil change which did cost us $500. Then they told us that the battery cable was also corroded so we changed that as well. They gave us the green light on everything else. In the next day the the stopped completely in middle of the road. Found out the battery was dead. So we purchased the batter. Couple of days later the battery light came on and now the alternates is bad. Coincidence? I think not. When you put too much load on the battery during the test you can actually damage the batter and the cell in the alternator. Now they are asking for another $700 for service. Disgusted with this dishonest dealer. More
Delivered as Promised ! I can truly say I had the best experience at AutoNation Toyota Irvine. This was my fourth Prius lease and my first time with AutoNation. Not wanting t I can truly say I had the best experience at AutoNation Toyota Irvine. This was my fourth Prius lease and my first time with AutoNation. Not wanting to spend a lot of time talking on the phone we came to a deal purely via text and email. I was a bit worried that things would change once I went there to get the car, you know the way car salesmen are, but they delivered everything they promised and more. Thank you Tom Hlousek, and the rest of the people I interacted with during my time at your dealership, truly a great experience. More
