Typically I only write reviews about restaurants, but after seeing such disappointing reviews, I felt the need to chime in. Ever since I was 16 years old, I have been driving Toyotas, along with my entire immediate and extended family.... Die-hard Toyota fans! Power Toyota has gone above and beyond to satisfy all my needs as a vehicle buyer. This includes purchasing AND leasing, as well as any maintenance or body work needed. I have bought all my vehicles from Karen B. in the Fleet Department. She always finds the exact car I am looking for and at the best price! I previously was looking for a Tacoma with a package that is not offered in Southern California, but she was able to find something extremely similar that met all my needs. A couple months later, my mother was extremely apprehensive about leasing a new Camry, but Karen knows everything there is to know about the benefits and disadvantages. This lady knows it all! I have repeatedly referred my friends and family and none have disagreed with the quality of service and knowledge she provides. Not only will she find you the car you are looking for, but she will even deliver it to your home! I didn't even need to get a babysitter (There is NO way I am taking my 2 young children into a dealership while I buy a car!) The entire car buying process literally took a couple phone calls and the delivery lasts about 45 minutes. Every time I need servicing I always go to Kevin. He is always really nice and helpful. Servicing is always fast and my car is always returned clean and shiny. The amenities at Power Toyota are spotless and everyone always says "hello" when you walk by. I have never once had a bad experience here and I have been servicing my vehicles here for YEARS. I refuse to go anywhere else... because no where else compares to the cleanliness and friendliness you will receive here! More

We started our search for a 2011 or 2010 Scion TC in Orange County where we live. We visited Tustin Toyota. The sales manager, Ricardo and sales person Sandra were very friendly, not pushy, and most Orange County where we live. We visited Tustin Toyota. They explained to us that the 2011 Scions are a fixed price and there is really no way we could get the payment we wanted with the amount of money we were willing to put down for a lease. They did not have a 2010, nor did they make an effort to call another dealership so we left. I then called Toyota of Orange. I spoke with Paulo and he explained that he didn't have a 2010. I told him what Tustin Toyota said about the 2011's. He said absolutely NOT TRUE. I told him what I wanted to put down and what monthly payment I was looking for. He said he would do some research and call me back. He called back "Good News" we can get you into that car on the terms I had outlined for him. I said , I don't want to drive over there just to be told something else. He assured me. We get there, and guess what??? Bill comes out from financing with the numbers 300% greater than was quoted on the phone. "Oh but we could give you this deal on a corolla". They flat out lied and then tried the "bait and switch". On the way out, Bill hands me his card and told us to think about it and come back. I said "you have got to be kidding. you lie to get me in here and you think I am coming back?" We had purchased 2 cars from this dealership in the past, but I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!! We then called Power Toyota in Irvine. Humphrey said he had found the car we wanted in Long Beach. He was going to pick it up the next day. We were going down to sign papers, when Humphrey called and said in was a manual not an automatic. He found the car in San Diego at Bob Bakers'. I really appreciated the information. We then call Bob Baker Toyota, and Patrick - the sales manager of the year - said he would deliver the car to us that evening curb service. John and Tony, came up to Orange County, stopped at two locations for signing papers and delivered the car with a smile. This is not only the best service I've received at a dealership - this is one of the best customer experiences I have ever had!!! You guys totally exceeded my expectations. I told you what I what car and what terms I wanted and you delivered - literally! I will drive down to Bob Baker toyota for my next car - no question!! I can't thank you all enough. More

They even let me drive a brand new and model I wanted. So far so good. When it came to getting just a quote however, it was annoyingly clear that they just wanted to close the deal on the same day. Well, nothing special here but I was just not that easy to spend my hard-earned 24K+. Besides, they basically tried to sale it with MSRP. After brief negotiation with the sales rep, he brought a sale manager, and this is the time I felt like I was pushed out to the street. He stared at me like some kind of cop and basically told me to go somewhere else. Wow... I won't go back there again. More
I took my Prius here to get an oil change after getting a coupon in the mail for a discount. After leaving the dealership and making another stop for groceries, a warning light came on. First they claimed I had put diesel in my car instead of unleaded gas. They said they would drain the tank the next morning because it was almost closing time. I then found out the station I had bought gas from did not even sell diesel! Angry with Power Toyota's incorrect diagnosis, I called the next morning when they suddenly changed the diagnosis to an electrical problem that would cost over $600 to fix. I was about to pay them the money to fix it until I read another review online where someone had a similar problem with oil change then warning light from this SAME dealership. I decided I would not let them touch my car. I picked it up the next day, and mysteriously the warning light had disappeared. My car is running perfectly and continues to have no problems 1 month later. I will never take my car to this dishonest dealership again for service. More
Started talking with a representative in Dec 08...assured of what to expect as far as financing...even got an email. Didn't decide to buy a car until now, June 09...called, again assured of interest rate and of what to expect as far as financing...even got an email. Didn't decide to buy a car until now, June 09...called, again assured of interest rate and financing...NO PROBLEM. Got there and they have a tag team style...good guy, bad guy. My husband walked out. They final made us a better deal, still not great. Bought car only because I didn't want to have to go to another dealer and go through the same thing again. NOT WILD ABOUT DEALING WITH CAR SALESMEN. Car didn't have the tag with ID number for key and now I have to try and get that from them...grrr More
I had been taking my wife's Sienna there for several years. A little over a year ago, I was told that the valve cover gaskets were leaking. Rather than spend $1,000 for them to fix, I had a friend replace the gaskets. The next few times in, I was told that he had missed a gasket and it was still leaking. Not seeing any evidence, I ignored their adice. Last time in, I was told that there is a major leak and that the timing belt was drenched in oil and also needed replacing. Their estimate for the work $1,500. I had my mechanic look into this, no sign of any leak, and the timing belt was bone dry. I will not be going back. More
I went to Power Toyota in Irvine to "look" at the new '10 prius. The sales guy understood I came to look and wasn't planning on buying. They didn't have any in the lot so he went to check the availability at the front desk and next thing I know a pushy front desk manager comes out with him wanting me to sit down (he sat down first) and talk about which options I wanted. I told him I wanted to look at the car first, but rather than telling me when more cars will become available he told the sales guy to take me out to the lot and look for a non-existent prius. Looks like I'm taking my business to elsewhere. More
For the same problem I visited the dealership service center twice already now the same problem pop up. Yesterday I sent an email to resolute this issue no body responded.
