Filled out the credit app, and had an answer within the hour, and the deal was done. We arrived to sign all the paperwork and pick up the car at 5:00 pm, and were out of the dealership within one hour. AMAZING. Big credit to Jonathan Yiao and Gary in Finance. Never have I had such a great car buying experince. I think I have longer and more frustrating experiences at Rental Car agencies. The deal was done, just as described to me on Sunday. No hidden or false charges after I arrived. I have had plenty of car buying experiences where I felt "Trapped" at the dealership and only wanted to get out alive. The person responsible for Internet Sales - Cindy Langlois at Power Toyota Scion Irvine (not our local dealer) responded immediately and informed us that she would be preparing a quote for the Floor Mat Package we were looking for. We drive less than 2500 miles/year and did not need any fancy bells and whistles. Just some reliable, safe, and fuel efficient transportation. Cindy painstakingly found us the exact color and configuration we needed for the vehicle we wanted. She found the car being unloaded for cleanup at the prep bay and we grabbed it right away. We were thoroughly impressed by her diligence in finding the right car from over a hundred models in the Corolla family, with all kinds of features, options, and prices. What we liked most was Cindy understood our need and didn't push us to buy a model that had stuff we would never use (GPS, moonroof, or rear spoilers). The only thing she insisted on was we take a test drive before we buy the car. The whole car buying experience was short and sweet -> less time than it takes to buy groceries, and we are thankful to Cindy for her patience, professionalism, and knowledge of Toyota products. There was nver any discussion on price, and we got the price that was quoted in her E-mail. We did not have any need for financing and Toyota Finance was just as good with it. All I wanted as a first time car buyer was a salesman not trying to pressure me in to paying for extra accessories and being truly honest with me because I felt at the other dealerships the salesman were trying to take advantage of my inexperience as a car buyer. Kevin was great helping us throughout the financial paperwork process and at no point was I pressured into paying for more plans.
