Communication from the service staff needs improvement. Bryant, my service advisor, said he'll check in with me regarding a loaner car the next day. A lady then sent a message to have a manager call me back the same day -- the manager left already for the day. I decided to return to the dealer on the second day and I was told that there are no loaner cars available, but my car would be done later in the afternoon. A courtesy phone call from the dealer to update me on my car status would have saved me multiple visits. More
Well I got ripped off again as usual. I got charged $271 dollars for a 65,000 mile service that only needed to change the automatic transmission fluid. I’ve been here before with my old car but I brought my new purchase here for a recall service and just an oil change. The welcoming service was okay, I’m aware of the “upselling” from previous years of us new purchase here for a recall service and just an oil change. The tech that handled my car’s case didn’t ask my name but instead the first owner on the car popped up and he asked if this service was for this precious owner. I had given the tech my recall paperwork with my name and address so instead of trying to upsell, analysis of the situation should have occurred first. Once I picked up my car, the recall service provided was within the fuel tank and I noticed my fuel was well below half a tank when I pulled in with a full tank. So this had to be addressed. After my gas was replaced, I noticed my car did not have a cleared “maintained required see dealership” message even though I ordered an oil change. Additionally, I was not offered a car wash as previously experienced. All cars are provided with a dealership inspection of the brakes, tires etc and no one went over that with me as I previously experienced here before. The cashier also did not go over with me what service was provided and what cost I was paying for. The tire rotation I added last minute was not referenced on the receipt but I know tires were changed as I have a scrape on one and it was moved to the back. I just felt this service was not was I’m used to in the past, about 2-3years prior with my first purchase. I am a little disappointed… More
I scheduled my 10K service for 9:00am and I arrived at 8:45. They did not check me in until 9:10 after I asked to see the assigned rep. The then sent me to another person. I asked them to check out that the lift gate opener did not work properly by foot movement or show me how to do it. Nobody knew how to do it so I said figure it out and let me know when the car is done. I waited at the dealer for 2 1/2 more hours then finally went to see where my car was, as nobody texted me that it was done. Another agent went and had someone check to see if the car was done. It was and they went to get it a few minutes later. I asked about the liftgate question and was told it worked but in reality it does not work most of the time. Nobody seemed to know what the problem is and said they would have to check into it and let me know. Needless to say nobody has contacted me a week later. Why did it take 2 1/2 hours to change the oil and rotate the tires and not even solve my problem with the liftgate and have an appointment to do all of this? More
Took car in for oil change… oversight/sloppy work led to a full engine replacement followed by transmission replacement after 3 months in the shop. Got my car back still not right. Service time and time again sucks When I bought my tundra I purchased the service aggrement so life would be easier. I chose to bring my truck to the Hayward dealership fir service. I make appt so that it would be more timely and such. This is the last time here shame on me for not leaving sooner. Today my truc was in for a 50k service basically a oil change and rotation of tires. Technician spoke to me like I an either stupid or 5 yrs old perhaps it is because I am a woman. After that he said after about 1 hr he would call me and we could talk about the rotors after the inspections. I waited 2 hrs and went to his office. He was very rushed and stated telling me about the windshield wipers that came to 80.00 I said why am I paying for that? He said cause they are disposable and I am responsible for them. I told him I didn't ask for them to be replaced. He looked at the paper again and realized that he was telling me about someone else's car. He then dismissed me. Told me to go wait in waiting room. It has now been nearly 3 hour and he just took me to see my car on rAck to show me how my tires are wearing unevenly. How can that be I only ever have my truck serviced here. Why am I only hearing about that now. His suggestion is that I buy all new tires and then bring it in for an alignment. When I saw the truck on the ramp the oil was just being drained. So my appt was at 740 am and they are just draining oil at 1020. I am so disappointed in the service I receive and my service contract. Wish I never bought one. More
