Sales personnel were friendly and helpful and Sales Supervisor even offered me free gas to make up for the bad experience I received from the Service Department that day... 2 days prior to this service Supervisor even offered me free gas to make up for the bad experience I received from the Service Department that day... 2 days prior to this service appointment, I was contacted thru email that my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic truck ( bought from this dealership in April ) is nearing it's 1st service Oil change and was offering a promo of $69.95 for a Full synthetic oil replacement. I opted for that promo and scheduled with them for the service 2 days later at 12:00pm on July,15,2022. Arrived that day at 11:33am for the appointment, stopped in front of the Service Dept area and was greeted by an attendant outside and was told to wait for my Advisor to come out. Several minutes later, service advisor Rohit Abasi came and talked to me of my appointment. Because my truck is not Toyota, He insisted that it will cost me $89.95 for the scheduled service and because of the same reason ( not a Toyota brand Truck ) they dont carry parts for it which will delay the service completion till 400pm. Told the person that I can agree for the $20 price hike but am not happy with that reason of not having the oil filter because not a Toyota Truck even though it was scheduled by them and that they should have prepared for all the parts and materials they needed for the service. I became furious and declined the service and went and complained to my Salesman who turned and talked to his Sales Supervisor and who then came and talked to me assured me of completion of the work. He then proceeded to the Service department and came back minutes later with the assurance that the job will be done 1 hour earlier ( 3pm instead of 4pm ) because of delay in part procurement from outside of the dealership and also of the agreed price of $69.95. The sales Supervisor also offered me a free gas fill-up to make-up for the inconvenience. Waited till about 3:30pm when I noticed the Service Tech came up and talked to the Service Supervisor and the Advisor. I then asked the Advisor afterwards and was told that the amount of oil available for my truck was insufficient and had to buy outside for more. I became more furious but tried to keep cool because there is nothing else I can do. I went back to the Sales Supervisor and informed him of the situation and sat down for another long wait. At that point, I was really convinced that the Service Advisor and the Service Tech were not prepared to do the service on my vehicle, not having the part available and not knowing how much oil needed for my vehicle. A good Technician should at least know the facts or certain familiarity of a vehicle before the start of any work to it. In this case neither the Advisor nor the Tech failed. Finally, at 4:37pm, the Service Advisor came rushing and saying "it's done" without asking a little apology for being so late completing a half-hour task in exactly 5 hour time. While receiving my keys I asked him how much I owe the for the very long service, His immediate reply was " free, on the house". I said Thank you and immediately left the premises with one thing in mind of not coming back for any service again. More
Service was average, the advisor was friendly and punctual. Despite having an appointment my simple service took over 2 hours. I had a radio issue that should have been a quick software update, but t punctual. Despite having an appointment my simple service took over 2 hours. I had a radio issue that should have been a quick software update, but the only tech with TIS and a flash drive was on vacation for the week. The dealership should focus on technical training for all service employees. More
