I love my car and the service the sales rep gave us during the process. There was an error of $200 on the finance department side it got fixed a week later that was 3 weeks ago till now I've reached ou during the process. Absolutely Unprofessional and Unethical Experience with AutoNation Hayward I had an incredibly disappointing experience with AutoNation Hayward last week. I visited the dealership with the intention to AutoNation Hayward I had an incredibly disappointing experience with AutoNation Hayward last week. I visited the dealership with the intention to buy a used Toyota Corolla, but the series of events that unfolded was nothing short of a nightmare. Firstly, the vehicle presented to us had a broken windshield, a major safety hazard that was conveniently omitted from the Carfax report and the sales pitch. The salesperson assured us that the issue would be fixed if we took the car home and brought it back the following week. This was not only misleading but highly irresponsible, as the car was clearly unsafe to drive. The waiting times were equally frustrating. We were repeatedly told to wait for "5 minutes" before being taken to the finance department, which turned into a tedious hour-long wait. Even more shocking was the expectation that we would pay half the price (~$12K) upfront for a vehicle that was damaged and would only be available after the windshield repair. After much negotiation, they agreed to a $500 deposit, promising a full refund if we changed our minds within the next 5 days. However, when we decided to opt for a new car instead and requested our refund, they suddenly claimed that our car had brushed against another vehicle in their parking lot. They insisted this would cost them $500, conveniently the exact amount of our deposit. This incident was never brought to our attention during the purchase or anytime before we requested the refund. What's worse is that when we asked for a damage bill, they required us to visit in person - an inconvenient and time-consuming endeavor involving 2+ hours on public transport. But the most disturbing aspect was the salesperson's demeanor when we called to cancel. He was rude, disrespectful, and used an inappropriate tone. He even hinted at having CCTV footage of the incident as a subtle threat. I find it hard to believe that a minor scrape would amount to $500, and as a dealership, it's expected they would have the necessary insurance to cover such incidents. Regardless, the way they communicated with us was totally unacceptable and an awful way to treat a customer. I strongly advise against visiting AutoNation Hayward. The lack of transparency, poor customer service, and questionable ethics make them a dealership to avoid. Please save yourself the trouble and consider other, more reputable dealers in the area. More
The sales representative-Max in the lobby attitude is so bad and rude!!! I ask him when I can get my second key for my car Rav 4 Toyota Which I bought in Nov 2022. He just sat down and asked me I bought the new car or used one. I told him I bought the new one rav4 2022 here in Nov 2022. He just told me I should contact Toyota directly instead of asking him. He said I just sold the car. The key or part Which I don't have I should call the Toyota instead. He also told the example like he just sold the insurance and he didn't care about the rest service. He even didn't help me to check How is my key's status and told me what I will ecpece in the next. I told him when I bought the car. The sales told me the second key will mail to my home address. And three months later I called Again. He told me the key will mail to the dealer And the dealer will call me to copy the program the second key. And I told him the agent who helped me to check and maintain my car in 6 month also is curious I didn't get my second key for a long time. But Max didn't check anything for me and just asked who is my saler and told me he can't do anything. He just sat down behind the desk and he was so inpatient. I really feel disappointed with him. Is it my fault to ask I bought a new car but only I have one key with it? Is it my fault to ask the dealer to follow up with my second key? But Max gave me the attitude was like that he just cares about selling the car and got the bonus. The Other things he didn't care. I really disappointed withthis experience with him. More
I had a great experience at AutoNation Toyota Hayward! I didn’t feel pressured. They made it so easy and explained everything so well! Sultani was great with emails from the start. Sam was a great salespe I didn’t feel pressured. They made it so easy and explained everything so well! Sultani was great with emails from the start. Sam was a great salesperson to deal with. Kohistani helped so much with the finance part. I also had to call them the day after and spoke with Najim and he went out of his way to assist me. I would totally recommend AutoNation Toyota Hayward! More
