Ofcourse We talked with Jeff a couple of times before we actually met him in his office. He was the only one person in this whole bay area who really made us comfortable in the price. He takes every single measure that he could do to satisfy you. I did not see the typical act each and every sales person do - going back and forth to talk to their manager. He is pretty straightforward and the only one salesperson who would quote the price in email and to be very true he infact gave us a price lower than what he quoted in email. you will not be disappointed. Trust me. He is just awesome. More

The finance guy was not big on chit chat but was focused on getting the deal done which I can appreciate. That is why I gave just a “good” rating on friendliness. After leaving I realized the car mats were not on the floor boards or in the trunk. I called him the following Monday and asked if they had them at the dealership. He called me back promptly and offered to reimburse me for some since he could not find them. (This was after the sale was done! That's unheard of these days.) It was such a welcomed change from the horror show I encountered at Dublin Honda. These guys are true professionals. More

Negotiating for a new car was handled in a very professional way with no tricks or deceptions like at other dealerships I have visited in the past. I always have my service performed at the dealership. Jay Wampler, the Assistant Sales Manager, is great. He always makes sure you know what will be done and how long it will take. If it is over 1 1/2 hours I have the shuttle driver take me back home until the car is ready. More
I had been considering a new car purchase and although I had never owned a Toyota before, the Toyota Corolla was on the list of possible buys. I was hesitant about a car purchase because I did not look forw had never owned a Toyota before, the Toyota Corolla was on the list of possible buys. I was hesitant about a car purchase because I did not look forward to high pressure sales tactics. When I went to Hayward Toyota, I made it clear that I was not making a decision that day, that I was just making initial inquiries. Mr. Hershman was very polite, let me ask questions, explained the Corolla features and then invited me to a test drive.There no pressure to make an immediate decision. He gave me a business card for future reference. I spoke with him the next day because there was a sale price listed in the local paper that was a little less than the one I had been quoted. He assure me that an adjustment would be made. I returned to the dealership the next day and everyone was very helpful and polite. It was raining and someone outside escorted me to the doors with a huge umbrella. The whole buying process went very smoothly. This is my very first Toyota purchase and I'm pleased with the process and with the car. More
Two dealers (one in SoCal and the other in Dublin, CA) had the car we wanted – a 2010 Toyota Venza - black exterior with ivory interior. And both turned out to have scratches. My wife and I just thoug had the car we wanted – a 2010 Toyota Venza - black exterior with ivory interior. And both turned out to have scratches. My wife and I just thought it was not meant that we get a new car. We then accessed the AMEX car buying program. Jeff Hershman of Hayward Toyota contacted us within minutes of receiving the notification of our interest in a 2010 Venza. Jeff did a fast search then let us know within the next 20 minutes, our search for the 2010 in Black/Ivory or our second choice color was just not available. He asked us our third option. We told him we would be open for buying a 2011 (which meant we didn’t get the $1000 2010 credit from Toyota). Bingo! Jeff found a Black/Ivory 2011 Venza that had come in around November at another dealer and was pre-January price increase by Toyota. And the price was just under what we said we wanted to pay for a 2011! What an honest man!!! The next day we met Jeff and the Venza. He already had it detailed and it was just waiting for us. After a quick and very pleasant chat in his office that has years of memories and stories, we went for the drive then sat down to finalize the purchase. Jeff then worked with us on the trade in of our 15 year old Volvo and the complete package was wrapped up. Then Harish Malik (Finance Manager) took us through the various Toyota programs and processed the remaining paperwork with smooth professionalism. Overall, our experience with Jeff and all the other team members at Hayward Toyota was TRULY OUTSTANDING. We cannot say enough good things about Jeff Hershman. Except that he became the recipient of my wife’s decadent chocolate chip cookies - that are only for the best of the best folks that we work with. Thank you Jeff and Hayward Toyota for the wonderful environment we experienced and all the follow up to make certain we are still delighted. We are delighted! More

This time, Jeff and Omar were able to find me the exact model and color I wanted and got me a great price on our new 2011 Sequoia. It was worth the drive down from Folsom. They made the shopping experience very easy and quick. The vehicle was perfectly detailed and full of gas upon pick-up. They gave us a trade-in value on our high mileage Highlander that was right in line with the KBB values - no low balling or other games some other dealers do between the sales price, trade in value and interest rate. He was very fair and I was very satisfied with the whole buying experience. I highly recommend asking for Jeff rather than just visiting any other dealers’ lot and playing salesmen’s roulette. More

I found out this this particular dealership through their website sometime around last year to inquire about the 2010 Venza. I originally scheduled a test drive for Sunday but I was promptly contacted by Jeff Hershman the day after. Considering the fact that I would be working this weekend, I made some time after work to see the car in person for the first time. It was rare enough to see this car on the street so I took the opportunity to see it as soon as possible. I'm definitely not a stranger to visiting dealerships and I've had more bad encounters than good ones. When I initially met Jeff, I could tell right away that he was not one of the 'usual' salesmen - easily approachable and very casual to talk to. Long story short, he took me out on a test drive / let me drive the vehicle and when we returned back to the dealer's lot, I was expecting the usual : "So you want to go back into the office and work out some numbers?" "What type of downpayment are you looking to put down?" But ... there was no pressure whatsoever! Instead Jeff was the direct opposite and simply gave me his business card in case I needed to contact him any further about the car. I was actually the one who asked Jeff if I could go over the numbers with him because I was looking to purchase a car very soon (my parent's old Toyota broke down a few days ago so I wanted to help out by buying them a new car). Quite possibly, the sale could not have been any better. Second to none, everything went effortlessly! The transaction itself was flawless and I was out of the dealership within a couple hours. I would HIGHLY recommend Jeff to anyone that is in the market for a new (or used) car. I also have to give much thanks to Harish Malik in the Finance Department; he managed to work very quickly with the paperwork (and we all know how tedious that can be), while at the same time, he was able to work out an amazing deal for me. All in all, I am more than just another satisfied customer. In general, I did not feel like a customer because they never put me in the position to feel like one - they were very down to earth and I was able to talk with them like I would with anybody that I've known for a few years. I also loved the fact how Jeff religiously takes pictures of his customers jumping for joy after completing the sale of a new car. Thanks once again Jeff! I'll definitely be back. More
