Try to really deceivingly upsale I went in to buy the Prius. Harish Malik told me that if I change my mind about the extended service warranty I can always cancel it afterward and it I went in to buy the Prius. I was very hesitant to believe because he does not look like a very trusting person. However, I signed up with the intention to cancel it after thinking about it. 2 days later, I went in to ask him to cancel it . He told me that he cannot do anything because it is still in the process. I have to wait another 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, I called him and he told me to come in to the dealership to cancel. He told me that he cannot do the cancellation over the phone. For me, the commute is like 45 minutes for me to go there. I reluctantly went there and was told he still cannot do anything. xxx! I called the financial services and was told that it should be an easy process and it should only take a few days to cancel it. After 3 months of being patient, Harish Malik still has not cancel the warranty for me. I complained to the financial department and was told to write a letter to cancel it myself. I did exactly that and now the warranty is cancelled. Don't trust this financial manager! More

This place is a joke. I spent my day off this past Monday there trying to purchase a new tundra thinking to take advantage of the 0% interest. After spending hours of haggling on the price, we finally came a there trying to purchase a new tundra thinking to take advantage of the 0% interest. After spending hours of haggling on the price, we finally came a conclusions after 6 hrs to settle on 40,100 out the door for a 2013 Tundra 5.7 SR5 package which includes convenient package, tow package and also the chrome front and rear bumpers. So around 6:45pm, we were finally able to meet with the finance manager. Then surprise, the finance manager told me and my wife that you are not getting this car with the agreed option packages not unless I'm going to throw down another 4000. I proceed with telling him that that's not what the sales rep and the floor GM and I agreed on. The sales rep and the GM came into the office and then they started yelling and arguing with each other totally forgetting that my wife and I were sitting there. The finance manager at the end got mad and snatched all the paper work off the table pretty much telling us to get out. I have opened a compliant with BBB against them for not full filling their obligation because In CA an oral agreement is a contractual agreement. Avoid them at all cost. I were actually thinking about trading my current car in at the same time to get a new Camry as well. That would've been two sales in one. Totally wasted a total of eight hours there. More

With him there were no gimmicks, no pressure and he treated us with respect. He was patient and flexible and gave us a good price on the car hassle free. He went beyond the call of duty to ensure we were happy with our RAV4 purchase. We would highly recommend Jeff! Also we would highly recommend Hayward Toyota. We truly appreciated what Jeff and the dealership did for us!!! It was beyond anything we ever expected or experienced. We would definitely go back to buy our next car! More

Ofcourse We talked with Jeff a couple of times before we actually met him in his office. He was the only one person in this whole bay area who really made us comfortable in the price. He takes every single measure that he could do to satisfy you. I did not see the typical act each and every sales person do - going back and forth to talk to their manager. He is pretty straightforward and the only one salesperson who would quote the price in email and to be very true he infact gave us a price lower than what he quoted in email. you will not be disappointed. Trust me. He is just awesome. More

The finance guy was not big on chit chat but was focused on getting the deal done which I can appreciate. That is why I gave just a “good” rating on friendliness. After leaving I realized the car mats were not on the floor boards or in the trunk. I called him the following Monday and asked if they had them at the dealership. He called me back promptly and offered to reimburse me for some since he could not find them. (This was after the sale was done! That's unheard of these days.) It was such a welcomed change from the horror show I encountered at Dublin Honda. These guys are true professionals. More

Negotiating for a new car was handled in a very professional way with no tricks or deceptions like at other dealerships I have visited in the past. I always have my service performed at the dealership. Jay Wampler, the Assistant Sales Manager, is great. He always makes sure you know what will be done and how long it will take. If it is over 1 1/2 hours I have the shuttle driver take me back home until the car is ready. More
I had been considering a new car purchase and although I had never owned a Toyota before, the Toyota Corolla was on the list of possible buys. I was hesitant about a car purchase because I did not look forward to high pressure sales tactics. When I went to Hayward Toyota, I made it clear that I was not making a decision that day, that I was just making initial inquiries. Mr. Hershman was very polite, let me ask questions, explained the Corolla features and then invited me to a test drive.There no pressure to make an immediate decision. He gave me a business card for future reference. I spoke with him the next day because there was a sale price listed in the local paper that was a little less than the one I had been quoted. He assure me that an adjustment would be made. I returned to the dealership the next day and everyone was very helpful and polite. It was raining and someone outside escorted me to the doors with a huge umbrella. The whole buying process went very smoothly. This is my very first Toyota purchase and I'm pleased with the process and with the car. More
