Asked about back cup holder replacement at time of oil change. Service Advisor said he would check into it. No answer when time to leave, so asked if he'd find out and call me. He assured me he would, change. Service Advisor said he would check into it. No answer when time to leave, so asked if he'd find out and call me. He assured me he would, Never called. When I called him, he again said he'd check it out and get back to me. Never did. Finally decided to call Manager who told me to come in and he would pay for the new part. Fair enough. Get there and they install new cup holder but leave the material cover hanging out after waiting 1 1/2 hours. Stood and waited for car to be brought to me after service and I waited about 20 minutes before I noticed that my car was parked down a ways from me - just sitting there. Went to my car, took the trash out and went home. Called the manager re the cup holder incorrect installation and he apologized and told me they would fix it at my next oil change. This dealership's service used to be good, but within the last year has declined... More
Jorge Buenrostro gave me the best service when I visited Power Toyota for an oil change and visor repair. The service was within reasonable time and he was very courteous. When I told him about the visors Power Toyota for an oil change and visor repair. The service was within reasonable time and he was very courteous. When I told him about the visors were broken he immediately told me that they were under insurance and place the order accordingly and assured me that he would call me as soon as they arrived. I felt confident that I have been dealing with the best company when it comes to customer and automotive service. Thanks, Elvira More
I had some issues with the service department and was very upset and disappointed with the service done to my vehicle. I spoke to the service manager and gave him my two cents. He understood where i was very upset and disappointed with the service done to my vehicle. I spoke to the service manager and gave him my two cents. He understood where i was coming from especially as a customer and compromised with me. This turned my views and opinion about this dealership. The service manager understood that i've been going to their service department ever since i got my vehicle from them and that just one isolated incident of bad service shouldn't be the only reason why a loyal customer would be so unhappy and angry as to never go back to them. So we both came to an agreement and i feel so much better. Thanks Sean, service manager. More
My husband and I previously purchased a Toyota Yaris from there and we went on this particular occasion for service on our Yaris. We started wondering around looking at the vehicles since we had been talking there and we went on this particular occasion for service on our Yaris. We started wondering around looking at the vehicles since we had been talking about getting a hybrid in the near future. Billy saw us and started talking to us, answering all of our questions. He was very relaxed, not pushy. He listen to what we were planning on getting and why and he started showing us some of the Prius that were leftover from Memorial Day. He described the vehicle its advantages, the MPG, the miles per tank, the battery, showed us the different prices among the Prius and why. He saw there was one particular like we like because of the price and the color. He showed us the interior asked us if we wanted to go for a test drive. He explained all the features of the vehicle, the buttons (they are many) and their functions. He asked if we liked it and we asked what the monthly payments on something like that would go by. He offered to run some numbers for us so we could see if it was within our budget. The entire time he helped us he was courteous, friendly, informative, and overall very helpful. He asked if we wanted to do a trade-in which we did. He pulled up all the information and came up with some numbers. We requested that he worked at giving up a better deal for our trade-in and after a little back-and-forth, he got us what he wanted. From that point on it was just getting the paper work together and getting our trade-in to the dealer because we were not driving that vehilce. I think the only think I did not like is that it took so long to finish the process. Not because they were slow, but beacause we had to wait for my husband to go and get the trade-in vehicle from home. Aside from that, the entire experience was very pleasant. Then came Brad Weber, the finance manager. He gave us the best price on all the extras, worked on getting us an even better interest rate than we originally expected. He agreed for us to email him some information that we did not have with us at that time. He understood that we were not technically prepared since we only went to the dealer for service on our Yaris. Brad was also nice enough to give me his peanutbutter and jelly sandwish when I said I had not had breakfast. Overall, the people we dealt with at the dealer were outstanding and I would sincerely recommend the customer service and so far, the vehiles this dealer sells. More
Went in for a window washer reservoir. The problem was quickly found and corrected (the clip holding the small pump on the side had come off). While there I asked to check if there were any other problems quickly found and corrected (the clip holding the small pump on the side had come off). While there I asked to check if there were any other problems. Found a cracked drive belt that needed replacing, also had the transmission fluid blown clean and replaced as had over 30,000 miles. Randall had me given a ride home and picked up when car was ready. The help I talked with were all courteous and helpful. I do plan to make this my new service shop. More
I came in to replace a leaking radiator (Toyota Camry, 1995). Among other things, they told me the radiator cap (less than one year old, I saw before they started work that it was in perfect condition) w 1995). Among other things, they told me the radiator cap (less than one year old, I saw before they started work that it was in perfect condition) was replaced because it was corroded and high pressure (a leaking radiator causes _high_ pressure !?!?) damaged the cap. When I asked to see the cap they told me it was at the bottom of the trash bin and did not charge me for the cap. Though they said the replacement radiator was after-market, they charged $230 for it! The total bill was $790. More
I had a brake light out on my Camry so I took it in. Buddy removed the burned out bulb and installed the new one. I was in and out in 10 min. I've been going to BP Toyota since 1995 and have always gotten great service. The Service Dept team has been great about explaining exactly what service I needed and what needed to be done immediately and what could be performed later. And most important to me, going the extra step, like today. More
In the past, I have gone through three different Toyota dealers to service my Toy; and I have some SOUR memories from the “service provided” by these three places. Many times the service consults made me f dealers to service my Toy; and I have some SOUR memories from the “service provided” by these three places. Many times the service consults made me felt like I was being haggled or hassled or that my business was NOT important to them. Today, I took my car to another Toyota dealer to be serviced; and I MUST say this is by far the BEST experience I have had in taking my car to a dealer. The Service Consultant at Power Toyota Buena Park, John Kalandjian, was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He knew the ins and outs of the services my car needed in order to properly function. John provided an EXCELLENT service, and I didn't feel like I was being haggled or hassled at any time. This is the first time I have left a dealer and enjoyed everyone's interaction in the place. I will definitely go back to John again for any of my car’s service. BECAUSE of JOHN, I would also recommend this dealership to people looking to service their cars or buying a car. THANK you John!! More
This dealer kept my car for a week and told me the engine needed to be replaced. Then they told me that because I was missing some oil receipts (car came from out of state) that they would not do a warranty needed to be replaced. Then they told me that because I was missing some oil receipts (car came from out of state) that they would not do a warranty repair. When I appealed to Toyota and Toyota called the dealer, the dealer told Toyota not to cover it (the service manager told me he said this to Toyota). I never met the guy and only spoke to him over the phone. His other employees told me that was wrong of him to do. I still don't know why he did it. I picked up my car to trade it in on a Honda, drove it around to dealerships all day, and nothing was wrong with it. I got offered a great trade-in amount from the Honda dealerships, and lousy trade-in offers from Toyota (I told ALL dealerships about the possible engine problem). Honda gave me a great deal - See Buena Park Honda! - and I LOVE my new Civic!!! More
