I recently worked with David Doherty, who took his place as service consultant.I think David will also be very good. I have only "consulted with David once" at this point in time. Basically, I am very happy with the overall service I have received and the attitude of AppleWay employees. I am a retired college professor, and I want/expect good service for what I pay for. Thus far, AppleWay has not disappointed me. Dr. Shirley Hanson 509-473-9860 hansonshirley@comcast.net More
I took my subaru outback in to Appleway to repair some oil leaks and repalce the timing belt. They called me and told me I needed a bunch mroe work done (replacing timing belt pulleys and tensioners). I oil leaks and repalce the timing belt. They called me and told me I needed a bunch mroe work done (replacing timing belt pulleys and tensioners). I did a little resarch and found out that these parts come in a kit with the timing belt, seals, and water pump, and that Appleway marked up the price for their parts 50% more than other mechanics in town. They did give me $75 off the cost of parts which made it a little better (still mroe expensive). But when I picked up my car after repair, the timing was off, it got terrible gas mileage, and I had to take it back to them to fix the timing again. I know they never test drove the car after fixing it because the mileage and gas gauge had not changed since I brought it in. I would expect better workmanship from a Subaru dealer and am NEVER going back. More
