I’ve gotten my service done at this dealership for 10 years now. The service has always been excellent. While it’s clear they are doing the best they can, since Covid there’s been a lot of cutbacks. Ther years now. The service has always been excellent. While it’s clear they are doing the best they can, since Covid there’s been a lot of cutbacks. There’s not enough staff and they are overworked. There’s no more extras - like car wash and the driver leaves at 3pm which is very inconvenient. I hope that this is not “the new normal “. Thank you. More
I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation and opted to wait in the office. I was in and out in about an hour. My wife and I live in Surprise, and despite having 2 Subaru dealers closer to us, have always wait in the office. I was in and out in about an hour. My wife and I live in Surprise, and despite having 2 Subaru dealers closer to us, have always made the trip over to Scottsdale to have our vehicle serviced here. Even when there has been an issue they've held up their end and made it right. More
I’m on a road trip to Arizona Phoenix and my 2017 Forester XT AC didn’t work properly, it’s blowing only hot air. I suspected the ac refrigerant was under pressure so I need to recharged then I took Forester XT AC didn’t work properly, it’s blowing only hot air. I suspected the ac refrigerant was under pressure so I need to recharged then I took the car to AutoNation Subaru (a place with high rating and somewhere that I can trust). The service advisor Steven had the same thought with me. So we agreed to check and fix it. It’s supposed to take an hour and half. It took nearly 3 hours with a new finding that my “compressor need to be replace” and my car is less than 60k miles. Before I brought the car to dealer, when turn on the ac I still heard the “clicking” sound which indicated that the compressor was still functional. However after their service, there was no clicking sound anymore when turned on the AC. That makes me believe the compressor was intentionally ruined so that they could recommend me to replace it (at a higher cost). Automation Subaru was supposed to get the AC fix (recharge the R134a refrigerant) so I can continue and enjoy my road trip. In stead of fixing the AC, now I have more problems with the AC and wasted my 3 hours. I later confirmed with an auto mechanic, that’s less likely my compressor failed. In conclusion, don’t ever bring your car to AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale AZ, try to fix it yourself first Or go to a specialist who you can trust. More
Gary G is a very good Service rep. I get the feeling the service department is having to push business because of the lack of new inventory. I get the feeling the service department is having to push business because of the lack of new inventory. More
