It is not set up for an easy customer flow. I walked in and 2 Service Dept. employees were sitting with no customers but did not help me because the service person I was assigned to was busy with another customer. Customers waiting to be helped were left standing around not knowing what to do. I was told my service would take about an hour and a half and my car was ready when promised. Michael was very nice and explained my service to me. More
2013 Subaru Forester engine replacement. Engine ate a rocker arm at 100,900 miles. Quote was $9,000 for replacement of cylinder head on one side and a short block, time 30 days. They were Engine ate a rocker arm at 100,900 miles. Quote was $9,000 for replacement of cylinder head on one side and a short block, time 30 days. They were also supposed to do some other items while engine was out, new clutch & fly wheel up to new standard and front transmission half axel seals, gratis. Second star because they gave us a free loaner during repair, but only 1 star for the engine replacement. Never did get written guarantee. After getting the engine back, at 600 miles, hard check engine light. I had to get the induction bypass assemblies replaced. Another $1200. The Subaru dealer in St George said they had never seen this before in any Subaru. I suspect the disassembled engine was left outside in the August monsoon, causing the heavy rust in the bypass motor. Auto Nation Subaru Scottsdale never return my or the St George dealers calls about the problem. At 1000 miles, engine low oil light started coming on with on 1/2 quart down. $400 to replace sensor assembly that had a bent float cage. At same time replaced front ball joints. And they found the front half axel seals weeping transmission fluid, so replaced those too. Do not use their mechanical services. More
