This was our first service with Subaru at AutoNation. Raj was nice and personable and the lounge was great and allowed for our dog to be inside with us. The upselling was a big disappointment. We were first shown 3 options for service, between $400 and $1000. We were SHOCKED to say the least. $400 for a 'basic oil change' with the 'required' services. None of these services were gone over in any detail to even attempt to show the value or even what the services were that were included. We inquired more for other options as $400 for a 12K mile service seemed excessive. We were finally told of an oil/filter change with multipoint inspections with oil additive and without. When we asked what the oil additive was, we were given a very vague answer that didn't tell us anything about its usefulness. We requested the 'basic' service @$79.96 without the additive. The service happened quickly and we were on our way to our next appointment. Additionally, we were not advised of the condition of the cabin air filter until the vehicle was finished and pulled out to the front for us to leave in. No option was even given to get it replaced. We're not sure we will be back as we walked away feeling like we were being upsold for things not needed for the vehicle. We want to trust who services the vehicle. We're not sure we can. This review is requiring us to rate a person we never interacted with. Giving that 3 stars too. More
Service was finished on time. The service advisor Paeli was friendly and efficient. She gets 5 stars. I had left a message earlier (forgot the name of service advisor). Never received a return call. Heather from the service department was very helpful and friendly. She went above and beyond to make sure me and my Subie were taken care of. She was very bubbly and had an easy going personality. The other service techs did not seem as welcoming as Heather. When you get your Subie serviced here ask for Heather, you won’t regret it! More
