I was very pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I was not prepared for the cost however. I figured maybe $500 at the most. It was close to $800. What they said would be a three hour job turned into more like 4. The waiting room was comfortable and coffee was available. The restrooms were very clean. It would have been nice to have a vending machine to purchase a snack. When I asked if my vehicle's curved "out of shape key" caused the problem they said no and I would have to order another key if I wanted one. I thought since the cost to repair the problem was so high and unexpected, they could have offered to order me a free key. More
Extremely disappointed with this dishonest dealership! On Saturday I had an appointment to look at a 2012 Toyota Highlander. I arrived at noon, was introduced to Ty (who I found to be extre dealership! On Saturday I had an appointment to look at a 2012 Toyota Highlander. I arrived at noon, was introduced to Ty (who I found to be extremely nice and a pleasure to work with). He showed me the vehicle and I took it on a test drive. I was very interested in purchasing it, and afterward I asked if it could be held for me for 24 hours so I could speak to my wife and get back to him. He informed me that he would normally do that but there was another appointment coming in at 4:15pm so he could not hold it beyond that point. I said I understood and that I would get back to him before then. It was about 1pm when I left to go speak with my wife and I was assured that I had until that time to give him an answer. I called him back at 2pm and told him I would like to make the purchase. He then informed me that another appointment was made, that person was on their way to the dealership, and they needed to let that appointment happen. If the person chose not to purchase, they would let me know. I could not believe what I was hearing. I told him that I didn’t understand. I was there first! I was agreeing to purchase the vehicle before this other person even arrived! I was assured that I had until 4:15 to call back! Needless to say, I was very upset! I called back a little while later and asked to speak with a manager. I’m not sure if I remember his name correctly, but I think it was Andy. I explained the situation to him, and he told me he would find out what was going on and call me back in 5 minutes. I waited almost at hour and did not receive a call. So I called back and asked to speak with him (It was almost 4pm at this point). I was told that he was with another customer, he knew I wanted to speak with him, and he would call me as soon as he could. He never called! Instead I received a call from Ty about 10 minutes later informing me that the vehicle had been sold. My wife and I have been looking for the right vehicle for several months and this was the one. We fell in love with it, and they stole it from us. They went back on their word, and the manager was too much of a coward to talk to me himself. This was extremely dishonest and a terrible business practice in my opinion. More
