I made an appointment for a recall on my 2013 Pathfinder. Upon arrival, I was told I had several clients in front of me, so completion time would be 2-3 hours, for a 30 minute job. So I pushed back a bit, why make an appointment, then have to wait? My Service agent calmly mentioned, “It wouldn’t be fair to jump line over 3-4 people, would it?” I hesitated, then contemplated her statement……and she was absolutely correct…! I’m a retired, over 66 years old, and don’t have to punch a clock, or pick kids from school. So, I agreed to wait. So I then asked for a courtesy ride to a local restaurant, less than a 1/4 mile drive. I then was told, they had no driver was available… So I calmly mentioned that, surely with all these vehicles on site, that an old man could get a 1-2 ride to Cracker Barrel. So a young woman named LaTarSha (hope I spelled it correctly) introduced herself as a Customer Support Agent, and she resolved my concerns, found a driver and I was on my way to within 10 minutes. She also offered to call me when my vehicle was ready, and send the driver back to get me back to the dealership to retrieve my vehicle. On top of that, my vehicle was ready in under 2 hours…washed included! Great follow up on an old man’s comments about service..! Two lessons learned from this experience. Firstly, me being considerate of others in front of me waiting for service. Lastly, by my calm verbal approach to pushback the wait times, I was rewarded with exceptional customer service. Where’ll e was excellent! I had a nail in my tire and Sherelle made sure that when my new tire arrived she contacted me, and made sure my tire was put on without a long wait.
