Then he looked under the hood and told me he wouldn't replace the sensor, he said I should replace the whole block, because he'd just done the same on his girlfriend's car. The whole 20 minutes he was there, he did nothing else but gab gab gab and I still need my darn sensor replaced and I have no idea how to do it myself. Bottom line? Avoid this so-called "service" like the plague unless you want to waste time standing in 100 degree heat listening to some random guy blather about himself. More
The process of arranging the appointment was alright, but the tech missed several important issues with the vehicle. I've only used this service twice and each time I've used it, I've liked the customer service. However, each time I've used it, I always have something loose or hanging here and there. I don't know why they it, I've liked the customer service. However, each time I've used it, I always have something loose or hanging here and there. I don't know why they can't leave the car as aesthetically pleasing as they found it. They also don't alert me to the changes they've made to the vehicle like why something might be out in the open. I really like the demeanor of the employees and the convenience of the service, but I am worried about my car looking like Frankenstein's monster if I keep using the service.... More
The guy came out on time. He diagnosed the same problem that I had 2 years ago. Except this time I changed the sensor out. Yet I still have to pay him 200 more dollars to come He diagnosed the same problem that I had 2 years ago. Except this time I changed the sensor out. Yet I still have to pay him 200 more dollars to come and turn the light off for me. Because no one else seems to be able to do it except the dealership. He better know how to reprogram the sensors. Sent out a non ASE certified mechanic for my “general diagnosis” and as you could imagine, he diagnosed it wrong. It’s a money grab, do not use this company. Get an actual mechanic. The tech truly seemed to have difficulty communicating or understanding my communication. He seemed woefully unprepared to do any actual diagnostic work on my vehicle, which was the purpose of the visit. Par understanding my communication. Part may genuinely be attributed to potential learning disability. This guy was definitely no mechanic as I was literally teaching him common sense things I have learned about cars from 30 years of driving. He also tried to convince me of things that I knew were patently incorrect. Ultimately, after having the tech not show at the original scheduled time, my time was thoroughly wasted during the rescheduled diagnostic visit. I fault AutoNation for sending someone out to do work they were clearly ill prepared and unsuited to do. Shame on you. More
Bad parts installed and cancelled warranty reschedule which left me out of my car which caused me to tow into local repair shop. The installed battery was totally dead and the new shop had to put a new b which left me out of my car which caused me to tow into local repair shop. Stay away from this scam shop that cuts corners and makes excuses plus charges extra for their mistakes. You communicate with a computer, not real people. More
I was nervous about using this service but the technician was punctual, respectful, patient as he explained and demonstrated the issues and offered a realistic and pragmatic diagnosis and service plan. The experience changed my outlook and this will be my new way of servicing my car. The convenience of staying at home is a valuable bonus! More
