Hollie K. and Marianne (they always go the extra mile for their customers) could not have been nicer, efficient and professional. They run their business the right way and really do put the customer first. With them, it is not a slogan, but a way of life and on this they never have wavered with me. What a joy it is to deal with them and I got out in under 30 minutes! You know and I know, the dealers are sometimes not the best to deal with let alone the extra prices they charge for any work done with them. Raja/technician is just great and a real straight shooter and you/I feel confident that what he tells me is what I really need and not just what the dealer wants to sell you. I could not ask for more. I believe his judgment actually put my wife out of harms way in at least 2 instances on a 2006 Sonata LS. Their prices now seem competitive for the local area. Dave, their courtesy shuttle driver is very helpful and willing to help you out and is quite thoughtful about any particular situation I.e., like if you need a ride somewhere and if you need a ride back. It does away with the need to have 2 people deal with car repairs. I find I can do it by myself and not disturb my hard working wife whom works 35 miles away. This is a plus, the small operator did not do for me and the convenience is really worth something to me anyway. With the above mentioned people and Carol Miller, you can not go wrong and they will steer you right. Let me state that I have nothing to do with the dealership in any matter whatsoever, this is a 100% truthful report of my subjective experience with Parkway Hyundai. I own 2 Hyundai's and have been servicing them at the dealership for several years. Hollie K., Hyundai Service Consultant is the best I have found to date, some perhaps may equal her in the future, but none will surpass her! They do not come anybody better then her! More
In hind sight our sales guy was probably innocent of everything. He helped us decide which car was best for us and we made an offer, which he got accepted. Normally I decide what car I want before I w everything. He helped us decide which car was best for us and we made an offer, which he got accepted. Normally I decide what car I want before I walk onto a dealership. Anyways, its always in the finance office where they screw you, right? Bingo. The final sales price was net the manufacturer discount...net to who? Guess. they gave it to themselves...oldest trick in the book. So I was going to pay teh amount of the rebate more. I simply walked out and wound up buying a Mercedes instead. More
The actual sales person was great, helpful and fun to chat with. The problems came when the "manager" walked in and began saying the car we wanted doesn't come with the options we want. That was lie #1. chat with. The problems came when the "manager" walked in and began saying the car we wanted doesn't come with the options we want. That was lie #1. Then when they found the car he began complaining how it's difficult to ship the car to the dealership and that he was unsure if the dealership would be willing to trade cars. That was lie #2. After that he went away for a bit and came back with a purchase price he was thinking of which after a little more discussion he changed his mind and said a higher price and called us liars because he never said that. That was lie #3. After we told him the price we were thinking of buying it for, using TrueCar, he said that TrueCar is only valid for cars on the lot and shipping cars in negates the TrueCar price. That was lie #4 since we've purchased a vehicle from that same dealership using TrueCar pricing and they had to ship it in from 150 miles away. Unfortunately since our purchase 2 years ago, this new manager has came and was completely unwilling to work with us. He was complaining that the price he gave us was already under MSRP and that incentives and rebates just take more money out of his pocket. That was lie #5. As he saw that we were catching him on his lies, he began walking towards the door without even bothering to shake hands or say good bye or thanks for visiting. He just walked away and stood in the showroom looking outside the window. I've never experienced such rude behavior from a manager in any business. I'm not sure how he became manager of that dealership, but he not only killed my desire to do business with them, but also ruined all praise I had for them after my purchase with the old manager in charge. It's obvious Shumon thinks he's above his clients and that he has full control to do it his way or the highway. I was ready to purchase a car that same night but his unwillingness to negotiate a fair price and his rude attitude just cost him a sale plus any future sale. Parkway Hyundai should reconsider hiring such a pompous xxx such as Shumon and bring back someone who's willing to work with customers, be they in their 50s or their 20s. Arrogance in the business world will only get you so far, arrogance in a car dealership world will just leave potential customers unhappy and unwilling to ever go back. More
I had an excellent experience at Parkway Hyundai. After a mishap on my first visit, they really went out of their way to help me.They went as far as driving the car I wanted to my house for me to look at! I mishap on my first visit, they really went out of their way to help me.They went as far as driving the car I wanted to my house for me to look at! I went back to the dealership the next day to purchase the car, and had a very good experience. The staff is very helpful and courteous. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car P.S. I love the car! More
We used the True Car website and within 5 minutes of entering our information, we had several offers (including one from Parkway) come in. Her assistant (Gloria) was calling us a few minutes after that entering our information, we had several offers (including one from Parkway) come in. Her assistant (Gloria) was calling us a few minutes after that to follow up on their offer. When we got to the dealership, Nikki was an absolute professional to work with. I was expecting the dopey "car dealer games" to ensue but she kept to the exact offer that was made to us! We knew what color and package that we wanted but they did not have that exact build. She dealer traded and we picked the car up the next day! We did get the usual questions with the guy in F& I, but there was really no pressure put on us to buy any of their offers! In over 35 years of buying cars, this was THE BEST EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD! GO SEE NIKKI ! More
We were here to do some comparative shopping. Although at the time we were considering the Elantra, our salesman explained that for a little bit more (thanks to Manufacturers rebates), you could get a Son at the time we were considering the Elantra, our salesman explained that for a little bit more (thanks to Manufacturers rebates), you could get a Sonata equally equipped. We concurred, and were happy enough to buy one without a test drive for the right price. I discussed with my salesmen in depth what I wanted, and we found a specific car. I stated what I would be willing relative to invoice price, before manufacturer rebates, and he said he could do it. When we were in the finance office, the invoice was written up with the rebate as the downpayment. In other words, the sell price we agreed to was increased by the rebate amount. We left immediately once I discovered their trickery and went to the mall nearby. I was sick and just wanted to walk around, get a snack, and clear my mind before the drive back. I had left my phone in the car. When I got to the car 3 hours later, I had 12 missed calls from them. The voicemails were a range of reasons and excuses to try and get me back into the dealership. I was in a market for a 2013 Veloster Turbo M/T Vitamin C color w/Ultimate package. I called all 6 dealerships around me and only in Parkway Hyundai they were able to locate the car to my exact specs and del color w/Ultimate package. I called all 6 dealerships around me and only in Parkway Hyundai they were able to locate the car to my exact specs and deliver in 3 weeks! For those who are trying to find those turbos right now know how difficult it is. And yet George (the general manager) was able to pull some strings and get the car routed to him. Even better is that they sold it to me at MSRP unlike some other dealers I read about who do 2-5K markup. Danika was the sales lady I dealt with directly and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. She called me as my car was being unloaded from the truck and didn't let anyone drive my car until I came to pick it up. Overall I'm very happy with my car and my purchase. More
I visited Parkway Hyundai a couple of times last month. I was looking for the "right" car for me. ( I am super picky) I met Kerfe within seconds. HE IS SO NICE!!! After spending almost 2hrs. with him, I FOUN was looking for the "right" car for me. ( I am super picky) I met Kerfe within seconds. HE IS SO NICE!!! After spending almost 2hrs. with him, I FOUND MY VEHICLE!!! I bought a new Hyundai Sonata, may I add that I came in JUST TO LOOK. Kerfe was the nicest salesman, NOT pushy, NO pressure. I will definately be back to see him. If he weren't married, I would've swept him away with me. lol More
I initally went to Parkway because of my friends terrible experience at Key's Hyundai. My friend got his 2011 3.8 Genesis Coupe from Parkway. James Weisman was the best salesmen I have ever had.
