My car was damaged when I left because of the state of the service department (tight squeeze between the barrels) my car is scratched. I paid to have it buffed however it did not help. Let me be the one to start out by saying I don't normally write reviews. But this instance compelled me to do so. I would've wrote it sooner but I had no idea where to. So Max or Mckenzie was the advisor tha write reviews. But this instance compelled me to do so. I would've wrote it sooner but I had no idea where to. So Max or Mckenzie was the advisor that was assigned to me. I turned my car into him at 3pm. He informed me that I'll get updated via text message on the status of my car. Or I can call him and if he doesn't get back to me he'll call me back. That sounded well in good. Until... that didn't happen. Granted I was turning the car in close to the end of shift so I didn't expect anything to really be done. But then the next day comes. I get one text message about an additional service around 11:30am. Which is safe to assume that my car is being looked at right? So I wait. Nothing... no call or text message. I decided to call Max twice at 3:27pm. A few hours before they close because I have yet to hear about my car. I talk to Hank the propane and propane accessory sells man... and he tells me Max will call me when he can. I wait until the next day calling them 6 times around 12:31pm and guess what?? No one picked up. Until I call a different number that is linked to you guys than that was given to me by Max. And guess who picked up?? My boy Max. Who finally told me what was going on with my car. He tells me they do not have the parts. And that 2 parts have been ordered and coming in the following day but the Ac compressor will be in by Monday. I said ok thats fine so atleast the tail light and door latch will be fixed by Saturday. He said "yes." Then I said cool. We will have to set a different time for the compressor because I work on Sunday and need to pick up my car tomorrow.... at 2:19pm that same day Hank calls me to tell me the exact samething I heard 2 hours earlier. And he got a little defensive because I'm sure he could hear the irritation in my voice as I tell him as nicely as possible that Max already talked to me. Fast forward to Saturday. I call around 12:41pm both numbers 4 times. Then I thought maybe they are at lunch. So I call again twice an hour later. No one picks up. So I decided to show up. I show up around 2:30pm. I see Max at his desk and he proceeds to tell me that no work was done to my car. He forgot there were no techs staffed on Saturdays.... and he tried to reach out to one but... blah blah blah. So I said ok we'll set another appointment then. I need my car. So I sat in the office for what felt like 30 minutes maybe because I was mad. Max brings me my keys I signed some papers and go to my car. Inside I see the stuff that was in my glove compartment on my floor. My air filter on my floor. This man saw this and didn't even warn me. The outside of my car was dirtier than I left it. Oh and the tail light was practically hanging out as I was driving home because it wasn't put back in completely and the screws were missing so I couldn't tighten it myself. Which I didn't notice until I was halfway home. Then to top it off Hank calls me 2 hours later. After I already picked up my car. To tell me my car is ready to be picked up. 30 minutes before they close like I could make it there on time. Oh and I forgot to mention Max said he'd call me to set up an appointment to get my car fixed. Since he'd be off the following Monday and Tuesday he'd give me a call on Wednesday to set up that appointment..... so not like I have to say it but that didn't happen. That would be 3 weeks ago! Even after my wife called and left a message to have him call us. Luckily I set up an appointment on Monday at the hyundai dealership in Scottsdale. And there they showed me how a hyundai dealership should be. The lack of communication was ridiculous. There were only 3 men in that makeshift office. The two guys I spoke too have desks 4 steps away from each other. I understand there are elements that are out of people's control. Like parts..... and parts..... oh and techs... but communication with the customer who needs their car. Who my wife had to miss out on 4 days of work because it's not worth calling an uber these days. And prices jumping up everywhere. Missing out on wages that families need... all because of lack of communication. All this to say clearly I was unhappy with my experience there. More
After a week of unreturned call I went in to the dealership. The general manager was helpful and got results, however the service advisors weren’t friendly or polite.
