The system of not doing anything until all parts come in is slow especially with backorders. I had a window on backorder and then when it finally got fixed (by me calling safelight) they realized a part the is slow especially with backorders. I had a window on backorder and then when it finally got fixed (by me calling safelight) they realized a part they had bought for my ignition (which they had a while) didn't work and then that was on backorder for another month. He was able to work on price a little for the inconvenience. More
I was really impressed by the way I felt like they were expecting my vehicle. Yes, I had an appointment, but it wasn't something I'm used to feeling at a dealership. The lack of communication was abysmal. We called multiple times a day for 2 days because our car had broken down and we didn't know what to do. We left multiple messages but nobody called We called multiple times a day for 2 days because our car had broken down and we didn't know what to do. We left multiple messages but nobody called us back. Any time we called and happened to get a live person, they would transfer us to someone who wasn't answering and we would leave another message. After 2 days, I got upset with the person who was going to transfer me yet again and they told me to just bring the car in. I had to have it towed in and we still didn't know anything about what would happen. We just had the same issue 3 months ago and wanted to know if it would be covered by some kind of warranty. I had the car towed in that day, Saturday. We called multiple times Monday, Tues, and Wed, before we finally got a call back. This was the 1st call back after leaving MANY messages over 6 days. On that call, they told us that the tow truck driver just left the keys in the car, unlocked in the lot and since this wasn't the proper procedure, they didn't know it was there. If they had answered the phone or returned one of our many messages, we would have been able to let them know this. My car sat for 5 days with the keys in it, unlocked! The repairs were quoted to us to be $409 and we agreed to start the work. They let us know later that day that the technician broke something and it would need to be replaced at no cost to us but it would take 2-3 days to get the part. We were without our only car for 11 days with no communication about anything like a possible loaner vehicle or even if this should have been covered due to the previous work we had done. THEN we found that the quoted price was more than the original part and labor by almost double AND we were charged for the part that was broken. I finally got Dana on the phone and argued about the tow truck situation and the lack of communication. We got a refund for some of the repairs, but I'll never go back. More
The absolute worst auto service experience I have ever had! I made an 8:20 am appointment for Fri 3/3 to address a USB data port malfunction. The car was dropped off at 7:30a. I received no status repo had! I made an 8:20 am appointment for Fri 3/3 to address a USB data port malfunction. The car was dropped off at 7:30a. I received no status report until after I called at 3:11 pm. I received a text message from Jake at 3:39 stating that "techs are working hard to get to everyone's vehicle. Your vehicle is currently 4th from the top." I tried calling again, was transferred to voice mail. I received another text message (5:25p) from Jake, "did not make it to the shop, i will have updates for you when i return on Monday." I proceeded to the dealership (via Lyft) to pick up my car before closing. It was there for ten hours without any diagnostics. The dealership communication is horrible. What's the purpose of making an appointment? More
I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of having my car repaired. They sent me text messages showing what needed to be done and a quote before doing anything. They also checked out what was covered by my w repaired. They sent me text messages showing what needed to be done and a quote before doing anything. Salesmen we’re great. Service department needs work. Showed up early for my appointment and waited 30 min after my appointment time to be seen with no others waiting Service department needs work. I have been very loyal to this dealership since I bought my car in 2011. I have had minor issues with sloppy work but never what I would consider bordering on fraud and outright poor information. They sai my car in 2011. I have had minor issues with sloppy work but never what I would consider bordering on fraud and outright poor information. They said I needed front and rear brakes immediately. They said I needed tires soon. I maybe understood the brake statement but since the 50k rated tires had under 20k of very light driving I was curious. i asked for a brake quote which they said was $750 ish. I scheduled a brake check at two different locations over the next two days and a tire check at Discount Tire. Front brakes 6 and rear 7 as measured at both places. Not the 3 that AutoNation Hyundai told me. One said at least 10k miles before needing changing of the pads. The other said 15k and maybe 20k. The tire tech laughed at the statement of needing changing soon. He said at least 20k miles. So, for the first time this dealer really felt like a suede shoe sales shop. I hope they get back to their normal good service. More
