I called the local location to schedule an appointment for a recall. It routed me to someone in Texas. The rep told me that I would have to bring in my car for the appointment, and then they would let m for a recall. It routed me to someone in Texas. He said it was if they did not have the part needed. I would hope I would get a call before going to an appointment vs. driving in for something that is not available to be completed that day. He gave me the local number to call to get an actual person at the location. They said it was first come first serve but again, why have your customers come out there to be told to make another appointment? I would expect a phone call the morning of to state they do not have the part if they don't, but, with today's customer service/common sense out the window I assume that would not happen. I missed my appointment, and when I called the local location again to schedule an appointment, someone answered the phone and spoke so fast I could not understand him. He said he could not help me and I needed to call another phone number. I said, could you please transfer me to the front desk to schedule the appointment? His response in a negative manner, "I am new here so I will try my best." The phone hung up on me. I had to call back three times to get him to answer the phone again. I asked for his name, it came out so fast it was something like Lukiano or similar. I called the phone number he gave me, again I was routed to another state/rep to schedule the appointment, but they could not answer my service questions. She put me on hold to call the local location and I was routed to a person actually in Tempe, AZ Dana whom was polite and saved me from going elsewhere. I know AutoNation is a large company and they think this re-routing thing may be the greatest thing ever but all it does is confuse/frustrate their customers and what should be a quick call to make an appointment turns out to be a 20-30 minute task. During writing this, I am seeing more reviews off on the side and I have actually decided it is best to not make this next appointment as well. I am going to call another Hyundai dealership as it seems like the extra 20 minute drive will be worth it. More
I had a 7:40 am appointment and was told I would be good to go by 10:00 am. I enquired at front desk at 10 am as to the status of my car and she said she would give my service advisor a notification that to go by 10:00 am. I enquired again at around 12 noon. This time I spoke with my actual advisor. He checked on it and said they are still working on it. I finally got out of there at around 2 pm. How did a software download end up taking 6 hours? Your service department needs to keep in mind that communication is the key to customer retention. This was not a great customer experience. No five stars on this one. More
We bought our 2020 Elantra new from Auto Nation Hyundai. We have been very happy with the sales and service departments. On May 25th we had our oil changed and this was our first time with service advisor Luciano,he was very helpful and knowledgeable with a good sense of humor and enjoyed working with him. We also talked with Johnny in sales and he was also great. We usually get a new car every 5 years but after talking to him and test driving the 2023 Elantra Hybrid we are considering a 2024 Elantra Hybrid. Johnny did a great job explaining the benefits of the Hybrid. Also this was the 2nd time working with the lady at the service desk, she was also great to work with. More
