We bought a maintenance plan for five years or 600000 miles for oil changes and tire rotation. We’ve had nothing but problems in the last two years with getting appointments and now we’re told that they miles for oil changes and tire rotation. We’ve had nothing but problems in the last two years with getting appointments and now we’re told that they will not honor the contract so you do not need to worry about us buying another vehicle. The people were very nice once you got through the phone wait times but I had to wait 3 months for my car to get fixed & no leases were offered or available to me when I asked. I asked for a printed copy of wait times but I had to wait 3 months for my car to get fixed & no leases were offered or available to me when I asked. I asked for a printed copy of my receipt since my car was under warranty & they said they'd email it - but I never got that even after calling them about it. It leaves me feeling antsy. More
If you have a Hyundai I feel extremely sorry for you, especially during a recall. I would highly recommend running from this company. The service department needs to be cleared and a new hire session w/ especially during a recall. I would highly recommend running from this company. The service department needs to be cleared and a new hire session w/ proper training is needed. It’s no reason this business should be ran like this and it is completely unacceptable. I am very understanding and know that life happens but having multiple excuses just shows this company is bogus. You can’t reach anyone at the service department, not even by text which they tell you to opt-in. My service advisor quit & I was unaware until calling multiple times in the afternoon (3:40) to finally be told this. They have had my car for well over 2 months and every communication effort was me reaching out to them to barely get an answer. At first, the excuse was them being short staffed, then it’s the parts, etc. The manager (Alice) is absurd and will say she did not receive a voicemail. The customer service reps seem to not even have “customer service” experience. No updates, no communication. Called to file a complaint with corporate and was told Autonation Hyundai Savannah was not listed to lookup info. I was promised a call from customer relations within 48hrs, no call received. This has to be the worst service department in Savannah. Asked for a courtesy vehicle and was not fully aware of charges and was told something completely different at the rental company. The lack of communication is bizarre. I am not the only customer with complaints with this company. I stopped by to grab something out of my car and was met by two upset elderly ladies. They had her car over a month for a minor repair (window motor) and she was told it’ll be handled within 1 week. She never received a phone call and left voicemail after voicemail only to be ignored. She picked her unfixed vehicle up and left. They also told her they didn’t offer complementary vehicles but somehow I received one. The general manager (Chris) tries but falls short due to the department itself. This is really a short version of what I experienced, it’s a lot more but I just rather get rid of my Hyundai so I won’t have to deal with these people ever again. Run! More
I came in for a standard oil change and tire rotation service. I was given the keys to leave and the car shook violently so I came right back. The lugs on one of the front wheels were not tightened. Th service. I was given the keys to leave and the car shook violently so I came right back. The lugs on one of the front wheels were not tightened. The tech came out with a cordless drill driver and tightened the lugs while the car was on the ground. Again, I was given the keys to leave. I turned right around in the first block because the vehicle was still shaking. They took the car back and put it on a lift to completely tighten the lugs which they should have done the first time I brought it back. I ended up spending about an hour after being told my car was ready while they had to address the wheel issue. They also scratched up the bottom of my leather steering wheel but I will not take it back to Autonation for anything at this point. More
