Bought a bumper to bumper 100k 10 year extended warranty that apparently does not get recognized by the general manager. Walked in needed to have the gas locking mechanism replaced as well as the steering w that apparently does not get recognized by the general manager. Walked in needed to have the gas locking mechanism replaced as well as the steering wheel electronic controls fixed. General manager said that these items may not be covered and it’s a bit complicated to explain. In addition I would have to pay diagnostic and deductible. The services that were done to the car within the first few years of purchase did not have a deductible that has changed now that the car needs more work done. After extensive debate they agreed to fix the gas door locks but not the steering column electronics. The g.m kept saying it’s not up to him and kept pushing me onto call Hyundai that takes forever to get to an answering machine. He proceeded to say that if by some miracle you do have Hyundai agree to having the electronics fixed you have to pay another $100 deductible. More
Prompt, honest and friendly service. However, my other dealer took the time to vacuum and spruce up my car before returning it, they don't. I like the dealership itself and the people along with the service I received! However, I cannot give 5 stars for a couple of reasons. #1 - the process for scheduling an appointment is tedious and time-c the service I received! However, I cannot give 5 stars for a couple of reasons. #1 - the process for scheduling an appointment is tedious and time-consuming, and you have to schedule appointments 2-3 weeks out (which is less than ideal especially if something were to be wrong with the car as opposed to routine scheduled maintenance). #2 and perhaps more importantly, the online system is completely non-functional. I cannot even see appointment openings, let alone schedule one. It consistently says "it can't find" my phone number as if I am not even in their system (although it sends me alerts just fine and it is off of those alerts that I clicked the "schedule an appointment" button). Then when you try the phone number, you get a generalized person, not someone at the dealership, and even that person could not see available appointments and had to call the dealership directly, (which apparently regular customers are not able to do). The dealership did not have a solution for this although they seemed aware of the online system/scheduling issues. More
Drop off my car for service the night before. The day of the service it was after 4 pm and they had not called me. When I called, they hadn't even checked the box where we leave the keys at night The day of the service it was after 4 pm and they had not called me. When I called, they hadn't even checked the box where we leave the keys at night. They didn't even know my car was there. It does not give me confidence if they serviced my car. When I went to pick up, the person who delivers the cars was in a bad mood when in fact the one who should have been upset was me. They didn't even tell me where the car was parked and I had to drive around until I got it. Totally disappointed. More
