This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. We went in on Monday night to buy a new Elantra (got the Sky Blue - LOVE IT). And Dan has to be the BEST finance guy around. We never felt pressured in any way-I would highly recommend this dealership and Bob/Dan in particular. Upon first walking in, we felt a very comfortable atmosphere. Staff members were all genuinely very friendly. The sales staff was attentive to our needs and complete gentlemen thought the entire process. There was great follow through from our salesman and the sales manager. And never any pushing, pressuring or haggling. We were always allowed the time we needed to make decisions and all questions were addressed and answered. They worked quickly to bring in the vehicle w/options that we had chosen. With many trips into the showroom, what I found incredible was other sales staff members greeted us by name and knew of our vehicle interests. The finance manager Dan Chatfield had brought a level of comfort and confidence we have never experienced before. He explained the process very clearly and we were given many options to suite our budget. We even met the service and parts department, and they were already answering our questions and helpful on our first day. This was the most pleasant auto buying experience we have ever had. Darren has a can do attitude, and really hussles to provide customer service. He even did the detailing of our car himself. This is the first dealership I would reccomend to others. I have never liked the part of the car buying experience that requires working with a sales person until now. The sales staff at O'Hare Hyundai made the whole experience wonderful. We actually had fun shoping for and buying our car there. I never thought I would say that about a car dealership! Until now I always viewed the sales staff as an obstical that stood between me and the car I wanted to buy. This is the first time I felt like the staff was assisting and facilitating my purchase. I had been looking on internet for sometime for a new car or one only a year old with low mileage. I have always been a Honda advocate but when I asw that the Elantra mmade 40mph on highway and 29mph in city I became quite interested. I also so the new design for 2011 and was very impressed. Compared to the 2010 and earlier models it is fresh. I started my search by going to Schaumburg Hyundai(Patricks). They had only two colors,white and black.Iwas not happy or impressed. And I only had a thirty time in which to purchase.This was due to my loaner and to receive license fee and taxes from my totaled car.After calling three to four other agencies with limited colors I called OHare Hyundai. I spoke with Mike Obal. Silver was one of the colors so,I drove 30 miles down to see him. I swa the Elantra and was taken. Mr. Obal took me on a test drive and explained the vehicle to me.He was wonderful.When we returned he explained everything I needed to know about the car.I pet up purchasing the car and he walked me through the entire process.Mind you I arrived there at 6:30pm.It was 9:30pm when I got into the car.Again Mike explained switches,knobs,etc...It was a great experience. I can only say he is an asset and detrmental to the company. More
I went into the Hyundai dealership to purchase a 2011 Sonata. Usually when buying a car I can't help but feel like I am being worked over the entire time...this dealership was very different. Of course they cam at me with a higher price at first but they came down to the price I needed them to without a hassle and I truly feel like I got a good deal. The salesman Mike Obal was very nice and was happy to allow me to test drive 3 vehicles before deciding which one I wanted. He also took the time to show me everything on the car and even stated that I could come back anytime if I had any questions. The finance guy Dan (unknown last name) was also very nice and helpful. I would recommend this dealership to all of my family friends. This was probably the most pleasant experience I have had purchasing a car. More
I returned to O'Hare Hyundai after buying my first car from them a couple years ago. I remembered the excellent customer service I experienced the first time, and I wanted to give them my business based from them a couple years ago. Darren and Dan were very nice, and worked with me despite the fact that I didn't have "perfect" credit. They listened to my concerns with the deal, and made sure I was getting what I asked for. My experience at O'Hare Hyundai was pleasant(both times), and I plan to return to them for my next car in the future. An "A+" experience! More
