Unprofessional poorly run service department. I had to wait 30 days for a service appointment for 2 recall issues. I knew these were being corrected by software updates. The afternoon prior I had to wait 30 days for a service appointment for 2 recall issues. I knew these were being corrected by software updates. The afternoon prior to my appointment I was told I would need to leave my car all day until 6. No loaner car. The service rep just told me appointment was to meet w him, car gets serviced, whenever. I reached out to GM R Schrell explained they don’t know in advance how long the service will take because Hyundai issues new safety recalls all protocols all the time. So basically going to AutoNation Hyundai service for a known recall - which has been in process for months, is not understood by the dealership. Go to a dealer that cares about the customers time. Another dealer had me in next day, in and out in 90 minutes. No games More
Took my new Tuscon in for its first oil change & tire rotation (complimentary). Wasn’t clear if service providers met you at your vehicle since no one in the building appeared to look up from their compu rotation (complimentary). After a few minutes, I walked in and asked if I needed to wait in my car. Only 1 of 3 individuals looked up from their computers and said he’d assist me - no smile or greeting, not very friendly, inviting or attentive. They did provide me a Lyft home after I asked if they had a service since it would be at least a 2hr wait. I received a Lyft back to the dealership (without asking) to retrieve my Tuscon. The same service provider that helped me at arrival greeted me & was more friendly this time around. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive the complimentary sanitation which I had been told I’d receive - at least nothing looked different. I assumed the sanitation was a car wash, maybe it wasn’t or maybe I didn’t receive it because the service was complimentary. Just not what I’m used to from dealership service departments. More
I can always expect quality service when I set an appointment at the Hyundai N. Richland Hills service department. The dealership has made it a priority to build a rapport with me and I trust bringin appointment at the Hyundai N. Richland Hills service department. The dealership has made it a priority to build a rapport with me and I trust bringing my vehicle to them for service. When they make suggestions about maintaining my vehicle I take them seriously and don't feel like they are trying to get the best of me. I believe they truly want me as a committed customer. I also appreciate Jorge Caldera for always taking care of me and setting my mind at ease when he explains what is taking place with my vehicle. More
