Went in for first service on my 2022 Palisade. Was warmly greeted by John who reviewed the services requested and escorted me to the waiting area. Took less than an hour for service and John met with me and reviewed the services completed and results of the comprehensive inspection. Couldn’t be happier with John. When I exited my vehicle at home I noticed that one of my valve cap covers looked funny. The service employee who checked the tire pressure and/or rotated the tires had left all the caps barely screwed on and greasy hand prints on every wheel. Not well done. More
My Elantra had some undercarriage damage from road debris and was at the AutoNation collision center. Since they don't have a lift, they sent it to the AutoNation Hyundai service center next door for inspect and was at the AutoNation collision center. Despite my daily calls to check on the status, they didn't even look at it until it had been there almost a week. Then, they called me at the end of the day on Friday to tell me the car was a total loss, and that I could come by the next morning to get all my stuff out of the car. When I went in the next morning, the car was still in the shop on the lift. I was brought back into the shop to my car by the service manager, Justin. I was confused because I didn't think they would want me messing around with my car while in the shop, but there it was. So I said "Well, I need to get my stuff out, plus pull the aftermarket speakers... and Justin rudely interrupted me, saying "Not in here, you're not." So I stood there speechless for a moment, waiting for him to provide the resolution, which he wasn't. So I said "Okay, well when will it not be in here?" "Later this afternoon", he replied tersely. I was thrown off by his rudeness, because I was just there at their invitation to get my stuff that morning, then he's acting like I'm trying to force myself into his shop and work on my car when they're not ready for me. As I tried to collect my thoughts on how to respond, he again rudely said "It's not my policy, it's AutoNation's...you can't be back here." I replied that I didn't want to work on my car back there. Then, fed up with his rudeness, I told him I didn't appreciate the attitude he was giving me, and that I was already upset that they'd taken a week to just look at my car, and now they won't let me get my stuff after they told me to come in and get it. He responded by abruptly kicking me out of the shop. I've never been treated with such rudeness as a customer of a business before, particularly when I hadn't even done anything to prompt it. Maybe he was in a bad mood from something else that had happened that day and was taking it out on me, but as a service manager (and a grown adult), he should be able to handle his emotions better around customers. I will gladly drive an extra 30 minutes to the next Hyundai dealership when I need my new Hyundai serviced. More
I had an 8:30 appointment. I was greeted immediately upon entering. There was one person in front of me and was vhecked in quickly after. Difficult to speak with an service advisor and did not respond to text messages or phone messages. It took me asking for service manager to for explanation of service recommendations none of which I broug respond to text messages or phone messages. Asked to wash car after service and it was not done. Shown coupon for free wiper with purchase of one when I brought car in but was not noted on service record when I picked up car. Service manager didn’t want to honor because it was no longer active when I picked up car. He was irritated because he should have already left work. More
