Service Dept customer service has gone down hill I bought my last 2 cars from this dealership even though there is one closer to me in Savannah. Have also taken both of those cars to this dealership for service. Recently I called to book the 90,000 mile service. The first time I called I was told this was a 6hr service. I needed to figure out my schedule and said I would call back. An hour later, when I called to schedule, I asked for a loaner car. I was placed on hold, and then told the service is 2-3 hrs and I would not be able to get a loaner for that short period. No problem, I can handle a 2-3hr appt. Later that same day, I realized I didn't know how much this service was going to cost. I called and spoke to another person. This person gave me a price of $760 and 6hr timeframe. What? Conflicting stories, which is it?? Again I asked for a loaner car and was told there were none available. Frustrated I hung up. I called again to cancel my appt and was transferred to a "service manager." This person answered with "hello," did not identify himself, and quickly cancelled my appt without asking any questions. When I again asked about a loaner car for such a long service appt, I was told they do not offer loaners. Funny, I have received them in the past in similar situations. I asked what his solution to this was and was told I could call Hertz for a rental car. Really??! Over $700 and a 6hr wait and I should l rent a car? Last car and service at this dealer. Steer clear, they do not value their loyal customers. More
Tires and Lies I stopped in to Hilton Head Hyundai in Hardeeville, SC last week for an oil change. After about 20 minutes, a female employee came to me in the waitin I stopped in to Hilton Head Hyundai in Hardeeville, SC last week for an oil change. After about 20 minutes, a female employee came to me in the waiting area and told me that my car needed an alignment and two new tires in the front. I asked for a price for all these services and she showed me some totals. The grand total that she gave me for the oil change, 2 new tires, and the alignment was around $300. So imagine my surprise when I got ready to make payment and the final total was $420. The female employe had no added in taxes, shop fees, mounting/balancing fees, and "miscellaneous" fees. I was completely dumbfounded. The female employee showed me all of the additional fees/charges and I said to her, "It sure would have been nice to get the final total before the work was completed. I feel like I was really misled because that was not the price you showed me earlier." I am extremely frustrated and disappointed by this interaction at Hilton Head Hyundai and I will NOT be returning for future services. Be sure to ask for the FINAL COST WITH ALL FEES before you let this dealership do anything on your car!!! -Dave Brooks More

In the past 6 months we have had the most outrageous experiences with this dealership in regards to 2 out of our 4 Hyundai vehicles... you'd think they would take pride in their work and value customers who have multiples of their vehicles. We may never own Hyundai's again. More
I have owned two hyundai's and always serviced them at hyundai dealerships but above all Hilton Head Hyundais service is above all others. They treat people like family at all times regardless of the at hyundai dealerships but above all Hilton Head Hyundais service is above all others. They treat people like family at all times regardless of the type vehicle you drive. Their prices compared to others is resonable and dosen't make you feel as if their taking advantage of your pocket. First of all you spend 30,000 on your car and expect it to last at least a year. I go to the dealer thinking I have a flat to only know its a cracked rim in which I have never cracked a rim no damage to th to last at least a year. They tell me it's not covered even though I bought the extended protection plan for wheels and tires. All a load of bs wish I never bought the stupid car More
The service department at this dealership was phenomenal! I am from out of town and was on a strict time limit, I called and spoke with Corey who told me to bring my car right over and we would get it in as I am from out of town and was on a strict time limit, I called and spoke with Corey who told me to bring my car right over and we would get it in as fast as we could. Even though I had a Honda he said that they were able to service it before I left to go back home. Jessica came out of her office and spoke with me and reassured me they would take care of my vehicle. While in the waiting room CJ walked past and asked if I needed coffee, soda, or anything that would help my visit there. By far the best service department that I have dealt with. Keep up the good work !! More

Came in for an oil change while vacationing. Service was excellent. Everyone at the dealership that I interacted with was friendly, asking if I needed anything to make my time there comfortable.
