I hate the fact that they didn’t have the needed supplies to fix my door handles. Even though customer service was great. I felt that it was a waste to go just to get turn around. Not to mad about it I under to fix my door handles. Even though customer service was great. I felt that it was a waste to go just to get turn around. Not to mad about it I understand things happen. I would still recommend them for services. The employees help as much as they can and that’s what I love about autonation Hyundai. More
Made an appointment for a recall , got numerous calls and emails reminding me about the appointment, the day of appointment, after getting checked in and sitting in the waiting area for about twenty minutes emails reminding me about the appointment, the day of appointment, after getting checked in and sitting in the waiting area for about twenty minutes I was told I have to come back another day, they don’t have the necessary parts to do the job. This is inconsiderate and just bad business, I had to take time off to make this appointment and now I have to take more time off, I’m very unhappy with this dealerships service department. The only response I got from service employee was a shrug of the shoulder and a fake sorry about that. If this is the way they treat their customers, I will not be buying another Hyundai. More
Took my 2017 Hyundai Elantra in for an oil change and general service check up on Saturday morning, October 16th. I worked with the two service advisors on duty and they were great! They answered my que general service check up on Saturday morning, October 16th. I worked with the two service advisors on duty and they were great! They answered my questions regarding some service recommendations they made and explained my options for getting the work done. They were both professional, personable and a pleasure to work with. My work was done quickly and I was on my way sooner than I expected. I'm very pleased with the service I've received! Thank you very much! More
My wife has a 2020 Hyundai Veloster. It was recalled by Hyundai for possible piston ring breakage, which could cause catastrophic engine failure, resulting in engine replacement. Took it to the dealership Hyundai for possible piston ring breakage, which could cause catastrophic engine failure, resulting in engine replacement. Took it to the dealership for a required inspection of the engine. Nearest appointment was over two weeks wait. According to Hyundai, the inspection was supposed to take 1 hour. When the tech finally took the vehicle to his bay for inspection, it only took 20 minutes. I am not confident that the inspection was properly performed. Hyundai said the first indication that the engine was damaged due to the bad piston rings was excessive oil consumption. If that happened we were supposed to take it to the dealership immediately. The tech signed the inspection as cleared and gave my wife a copy and said if the engine does fail, don't worry, the dealership will replace it for free. When she came home from the dealership, I raised the hood and checked all fluids and lubricants, as I always do when one of my vehicles has been in a service shop. The vehicle, which just returned from the service department for an engine inspection was a little over 1 quart low on oil. I am surprised the engine low oil light was not on it was so low. How is it possible that a low mileage vehicle, being inspected for oil consumption issues, can come from the service department dangerously low on oil. I can only come to one conclusion and that is that the technician did not even do a physical inspection. No other explanation is possible. Due to this, I have no confidence in the service depart of AutoNation Hyundai Columbus. Most of their technicians are probably honest and dependable, but the one that released this vehicle so low on oil, should be terminated. I surely hope the engine does not fail, because they are the only Hyundai dealership for many miles around. I will be forced to take it to them for the engine replacement. This may explain the poor performance by the technician. It's a win win for him. Paid once for the questionable inspection and paid much more for engine replacement. More
