Unbelievably excellent service We were visiting in Knoxville (Farragut actually) today when our vehicle started smoking and smelling. We pulled into a gas station. My wife started for the gas station to ask if they knew of someplace we could take it. On the way she ran into a salesman from AutoNation Honda West Knoxville. He said if we dropped by the Honda dealership, someone there could take a look at it. It turned out to be only a mile away. They took a look almost immediately and discovered serious problems with the front brake - caliper had locked up. They offered to give us a loaner car so we could leave it to get fixed. When they found their loaner cars were all loaned out, they tried to get us a rental car. Enterprise and Hertz were both out of cars. After consulting with his manager, Gus offered to help pay for a rental from Toyota. This vehicle we were driving is a Chrysler. I was blown away with the way Honda went out of their way to help us. Sean even drove us over to the Toyota dealership to get our rental. Those guys were amazing. Next time I need to buy a car, you can guess where I'm going. And actually I did buy a car from them four years ago - and it's never had one lick of work done in those four years other than routine maintenance. I can recommend these guys enough!! More
Service & Repair rips you off. Warranty an expensive joke. Their Service and Repair dept is a rip-off. We bought a used Civic Hybrid and in less than a year the AC went out. We took it in and after sitting for 4 hours they charged us $50 and said they had no idea what was wrong. They were getting 'weird codes' on their diagnostics. They said we had to bring it back some other time and they were going to change us $150 an hour to find the problem. And they had no idea how long it would take. We replaced the AC compressor on our own and it works now. Really? They couldn't tell it was the AC compressor after 4 hours? No idea at all? They are worthless and super expensive. Also, DO NOT GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY! It is also a rip-off. It was super expensive and expired long before it did us any good. It was an extremely high pressure sales pitch after a long day and lots of paperwork and we caved in. Big mistake! Expensive mistake. More

He was very patient with us especially during the 3 months it took for us to decide on a vehicle. My wife and I have and will continue to referral people to Thomas Brothers to anyone we know wanting to purchase a vehicle. This is the 7th car we have bought from this location and we go back time after time because of the service we get. More

I spoke with a sales person name Jason all the way there and all he had to say was he stepped out to demo a car and another sales man sold the vehicle.The vehicle was parked and another customer was doing the paperwork on it .It was a horrible experience and its obvious they didn't care.We couldn't even get a manager to address us until about 15 minutes later came to us to tell us that Jason was out with another customer e and he will be back soon. The salesperson Jeff was great, and we were ready to make a purchase, but after my brother made an initial offer on the car, the manager Adam literally laughed and told my brother to "go do research and educate himself" - in these exact words. I dont care if you just flat out reject our offer but what he said was completely rude and disrespectful. After that we didn't even want to stay around to check out the second car, or any car from there, ever. More
Post sale support? NOT. My experience at AutoNation of West Knoxville was pleasant. The sales force was nice and worked with me to get a sale price I was comfortable with. As with any dealer, of course, the sales force is very happy to accommodate the buyer. However, they had no problem texting and calling me to come back by to sign some additional paperwork that they forgot at the "closing." I went back to sign the papers even though it was inconvenient for me. But, when something as minor as a missing valve stem cap or wheel center was brought to their attention they go into defense mode. Their comment, "Oh I am sure the detailers would have noticed that when they cleaned the car. It would have stuck out like a sore thumb and they would let us know." I found their comment insulting. I had only driven the car 35 miles from the dealer to my garage. I noticed the missing items, when I cleaned and waxed the car, and brought it to their attention. Why would I fabricate a missing valve stem cap or wheel center? SO, is it my word against theirs? I have not received a return call or received the missing parts. I hope this very minor incident can be resolved, but if not, this is what these reviews and comments are about! Mike More

I was in the market for a new Pilot. I had dealt with West Side for many years. After leaving having made the purchase this time however, I felt like I had been used and abused. Unfortunately, it has t West Side for many years. After leaving having made the purchase this time however, I felt like I had been used and abused. Unfortunately, it has taken me 8 months to find out how used I was. I told them that I wanted a HondaCare warranty with the vehicle. When we went over the paperwork, I asked after the HondaCare warranty. At that time, I was told that HondaCare was not available for the one I was purchasing. The finance manager said, "This warranty works just like HondaCare." Let me tell you now that it does NOT. I have had the Pilot in for a few repairs now, and nothing has been covered. I feel like I got thrown into the biggest bait and switch that I have ever fallen for. After a couple of bad service experiences with my Prelude, I will never, ever, ever buy from West Side Honda again! More

I asked Adam for a no negotiable price and he delivered with a great one. When we arrived at the dealership, he had the Accord all ready for us to look at and from there it was a really easy process. We completed all the paperwork and was out of the dealership in a record time of about an hour. I've bought numerous cars and very typically it's a 2-3 hour process, but not here.
