They have always been very friendly and explained everything well. I’ve always been apprehensive about taking my cars to dealers or shops because of stories my friends have told me about some of thei everything well. I’ve always been apprehensive about taking my cars to dealers or shops because of stories my friends have told me about some of their experiences. My son is a master mechanic so I have always just taken my car to him and he’s always done what’s needed, but I feel very confident in AutoNation Honda. More

We took our Honda Fit to the Autonation Honda dealership for some safety recalls, a tune-up (sparkplugs, wires, distributor & replacing the valve cover gaskets), break-job and to fix the AC which had stopped blowing cold and had to be partially replaced. For these services they charged $3200, but we were willing to pay a little more knowing it would be done with official Honda parts by the Honda experts. WRONG! In the week since we have had the car back, the AC blows cool not cold, the engine is miss-firing on a cylinder, either from the sparkplugs not being gapped properly or from the tech allowing debris to get into the valves when he had the cover off, and one of the rotors is making a grinding noise from a botched break-job. Took it back to the shop and they refuse to warranty their work!! Not only that, but it turns out they didn’t use Honda parts but charged Honda rates. In fact, one part was backordered so they had a tech clean & oil the old part “really well” and charged us the price for the new part!! Plus that part that the tech cleaned up, is squeaking. The shop wants us to pay for these repairs again if we want the issues they caused addressed. We could not be more sick. We spent double what we would have paid elsewhere and the car is in worse shape for it. From using discount parts, to having techs refurb parts while charging for new, and then refusing to correct the mistakes of their mechanics…. This place is an absolute disaster and 100% dishonest!!! Service Mgr John is an unhappy person I have been going to Honda Service in the Valley for years. I was thinking about purchasing a vehicle ad did not have my vin number from a car that I have been going to Honda Service in the Valley for years. I was thinking about purchasing a vehicle ad did not have my vin number from a car that has been serviced there numerous times . I needed the Vin # to aid the salesperson in trade value. John was arrogant and defiant saying that my name wasn't in system. The salesperson mgr and myself went to him three times, spelling out my name - yet he was adamant and rude stating I am not in the system. His ego got in the way of offering good customer service. Eventually my name was found as he spelled it wrong and gave me the poorest excuse of an apology I have ever heard. Rude service = No business to them More
How many times do you want to go back? Second time there. First time just for an oil change, and they pushed and said I needed my transmission fluid changed... Kept pushing until I told the Second time there. First time just for an oil change, and they pushed and said I needed my transmission fluid changed... Kept pushing until I told them it was changed 6 months ago. "Oh, my tech must of not got it right?" Really? Pushing any service for more money? This time I knew I had to replace the back battery on my hybrid for a cost of often quoted $2500, but they hiked it up to near $3000 so they could claim to give me a 10% discount. Had them fix my door latch and put air in the tires for $100,..got out the driveway and the wheel skirt fell off, and had to go back. Then on the way home I noticed that the charge assist light, which was working before was not working at all now and it was going straight downhill. I would never make it home now? They disconnected something so I would have to come back. Grrr More
They are unethical Really bad experience. Our daughter went in for 3 recall notices and left paying $170 for a new gas cap and windshield wipers. She told them she smell Really bad experience. Our daughter went in for 3 recall notices and left paying $170 for a new gas cap and windshield wipers. She told them she smelled gas and the "check engine" light was on. The gas cap itself says that if is cracked it can cause that light to illuminate. It was, in fact, cracked, but instead of checking that first they ran an expensive diagnostics program on it, then told her she needed a new cap. She is 21 years old and that was her first experience in handling a car issue on her own. They completely took advantage of her, and when we found out we called them immediately. Their response was nothing short of slimy. A lot of fast talking and no effort to have a reasonable conversation. We will NEVER do business with AutoNation Honda again. It is discouraging to encounter a business like this one. More
I have given them a terrible rating due to there taking I have given them a terrible rating due to there taking advantage of my teenage son and mother in law, charging them 4,000.00 for service on a 3,000 I have given them a terrible rating due to there taking advantage of my teenage son and mother in law, charging them 4,000.00 for service on a 3,000 car. And doing it without a price agreement and then they lied about getting the approval. And so they forced them to pay the cost before getting there car back. Who would agree to put 4,000 into a car that they could only get 3,000 out of? Why wouldn't a person sell the car for three thousand and take the four thousand and buy a car for Seven thousand. Most people would not, and thats why they are Liars and thief's. Do not take your car here they are full of it and will rip you off. Not only did they do the work without cost approval they also charged over 1200.00 more than quotes we received from other service departments, for the exact services done. They will be receiving a call from our Lawyer and the Better Business Bureau and since we have done business with this terrible company in the past, buying six different cars and had plans for a new 2014 I guess they lost out on sales along with both my wife and I being local business owners, I guarantee they have lost out on a whole xxxx of a lot of Sales in the future!! This is the second time our family has had a problem with this service department , luckily the first time I a man was there to handle it. If you have to use these worthless pieces of @#$! make sure the man of the house is the one who deals with it. More

The work has always been to my satisfaction and completed within the timeframe that was quoted. I also find the prices reasonable. I give credit to Jim Freet for the outstanding job he does for training his staff and truly understanding customer care. I would not take my care anywhere else for service. In addition I just bought a new Honda and sought out Steve Talbott. He had sold me my last car and I was so impressed with how I was treated by him the last time that I went back to him specifically. He knows the product, is not pushy and is very helpful even after the sale. I highly recommend him to any of my friends when they are looking for a car. More
