Service department is mostly full of advisors who just want to make money. Any time I brought my NEW Honda in for warranty issues over the last 4 years these guys would hassle me about how they don’t make want to make money. Any time I brought my NEW Honda in for warranty issues over the last 4 years these guys would hassle me about how they don’t make money on warranty claims if they can’t reproduce the issue. Sliding doors wouldn’t close, poor panel alignment, buttons like the traction control that didn’t work in the car from the factory. I paid for a new car that came with a bumper to bumper warranty - it’s not my concern how Honda decides to provide that coverage, or how the service department is funded through the manufacturer’s warranty. Every time they worked on my car there was an issue with panels not being put back together properly, leaving the car dirty or with black smudges on the inside, and I even found a deck of playing cards in the car. They stopped providing ANY kind of transportation even when the car was in for a recall - no shuttle, no Uber, no rentals. SAD SAD SAD! Even something as simple as an oil change - they don’t use HONDA parts! They got upset with me when I didn’t want pay to have them change my oil anymore - You’re paying for the Honda dealer to service your car, but guess what! Your oil filter is they own house brand, not a genuine Honda part. I reviewed my dashcam video from a few of the visits and I learned much about how they operate as a company. The technician couldn’t figure out how to use Honda’s push button transmission and obviously damaged my transmission by repeatedly trying to drive while shifting shift into drive with the door open, forcing the car to shift into park, grinding to a halt. I could hear the two-faced service advisor talking about how the customer (me) is a jerk for not wanting to have the oil change performed while the car was in a recall. I heard the technician talking about how the customer (me) is an idiot for brining the car in for a bad shock absorber that creaked over bumps. Don’t get me wrong - these issues were eventually addressed, but it took a lot of fighting and return visits to get it done right. I wouldn’t highly recommend you STAY AWAY from the service department of this dealership. More

Worst service department experience ever Do not get your vehicle repaired here. I am disabled. I have a disabled autistic son. My car is currently being held hostage at AutoNation Honda, torn Do not get your vehicle repaired here. I am disabled. I have a disabled autistic son. My car is currently being held hostage at AutoNation Honda, torn down with a blown head gasket. I have a service agreement contract for the car. Yet, the service agreement company will not honor the contract. When I purchased the service agreement contract, the salesman assured me that there were no additional cost or maximum payouts on repairing my vehicle. The service agreement contract does not expire until February of 2019, and there are still about three to four hundred miles left within the agreement on the car. The inspector from my service agreement company approved repairs yesterday on Wednesday. Yet, the corporate office will not pay their part of the bill. Richard Amader, service department employee for AutoNation Honda will not help me. The repairs cost $1600.00. Nick, Service Manager for AutoNation Honda will not help. Norbert Santos, Service Manager for Maita Honda will not help. More

Service I was in town visiting my son and took my car in for service. When I came in to pick up my car the cashier was so rude!!! The tech who took my car was so helpful but when I had a question the cashier couldn't answer my question. So I asked to speak to e manager and she said they don't have managers working on the weekend so I asked to speak to the tech who got my car and she said NO that the tech was busy with others customers. So I signed the work order but would not initial the final estimate and she told me she wouldn't give me my keys. I asked her why I had just paid for the service and she said to bad you have to I initial so I initial under duress I have NEVER had this can of problem at the dealership I use in Fairfield and Vacaville. I will never use your service dept again!!! More

They answer their phones, make service appointments in a timely matter, and give you eye contact and acknowledgment when you arrive at their service center. Honda Roseville in the Automall is completely on the other end of the spectrum. After multiple days of calling, NO ONE ever answers the phone. Instead, a computed voice just keeps rerouting you . Our attempt to make an appointment on line looked to be promising until we came to the actual scheduling and weren't allowed to proceed. (another glitch?) We finally drove to the dealership (this is just for question about windshield wiper that wasn't working). We parked the car, no one came out to acknowledge us. We went inside, again, no acknowledgement again, went to the cashier where we were told we couldn't be helped as cashier is only for people picking up vehicles. We were sent to parts counter, again, nobody there. After 10 minutes we finally had a person to help! The elderly woman in front of us was redirected to a service personnel where she should have been sent to in the first place. And the same gentleman, "Ken", the only shining star over there, was kind of enough to take good care of us and got the windshield wipers squared away on my daughters car. We wanted to get the oil changed before she left, but will wait to get her back to her dealership. By far this is the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. I wouldn't purchase from them, and certainly not maintain my car there. More
The lack of communication with the two persons that were servicing my care was terrible. It was beyond terrible. I dropped my car off 5 hours ago and nothing has been done and only the DVD player needed to servicing my care was terrible. It was beyond terrible. I needed an oil change and they didn't bother to complete that either. Would never recommend this dealer. More
I bought my 2004 Honda Accord at this dealership and have had good service ever since. I have worked with Greg Letherman in the service dept ever since I bought the car and have had very good service. Greg had good service ever since. Greg has helped me set up appointments that best fit my schecule and has worked well with me. He has always explained what the service entailed and also if there were any problems. I took my car in to have an oil change while we were on vacation. The oil change went well, but since my visit I have received tons of paperwork from the dealership and obviously from third parties with w vacation. I have asked them several times to remove my name and address from their mailing lists, but they ignore my requests and since they shared my name and address with others (extended warranty companies, for example) the mail just keeps increasing. If you don't mind getting tons of junk mail, by all means have service done at AutoWest Honda-Roseville! More
