This is an update to the previous review regarding the oil pan gasket replacement on my car. I got the car to the dealership service a bit after 8 am on a Saturday. A service advisor (who I have opted to remain nameless out of sheer courtesy to him although he was primarily the problem) quickly took my keys and told me he remembered me when I stated that this was the THIRD attempt to fix the gasket. I offered to show him pictures of the large oil leaks in my carport. He declined and told me to email the pictures to him after handing me his card containing his email address. No other communication and my car seemed to go into the shop quickly as I no longer saw it where I parked it. So far, so good. I waited until 9:30 am for any update as to what might be the problem this time and my anticipated wait time. I then approached the service advisor, who simply said there was no update, but he should have one soon. I waited until a bit before 12:00 noon, ALMOST FOUR (4) hours after I arrived, and again approached the same service advisor. He shuffled through a stack of papers, eventually found the one pertaining to my car, and said the bolts were stripped and they wouldn’t be able to fix the car this date (Saturday), without appreciating that this whole problem began with them. I responded that I had been waiting FOUR hours just to find out bolts were stripped and they couldn’t fix it today. The service advisor simply said that Saturdays were their busiest days and he JUST NOW received the information (although he had to sort through a stack of papers to even find the one pertaining to my car). I then stated, “So, I’m without a car for the weekend.” He simply stated, “Yup, sorry, but the work is free.” Of course the work should be free as this entire problem started with them. Moreover, this service advisor did not offer me a ride nor any other accommodations. I was the one who had to ask for a ride home via their Lyft service. Had this service advisor not waited four (4) hours to tell me they couldn’t work on the car until Monday, I could have obtained a rental for the weekend. By the time I again initiated asking him about the car, the rental agencies (except for the airport which is always a hassle) were already closed. I suppose it was partially my fault that I expected or assumed this service advisor would be like Aaron Ross or Bill Ackerman. Rather, he completely failed to communicate with me unless I initiated the conversation. He simply didn’t seem to care that this was the THIRD attempt to fix my car, I had been waiting four hours without any information, that I would be without a car for the entire weekend, and that I might need a ride home. I asked when the car might be ready on Monday. He said “sometime” in the afternoon and he would call me “as soon as I have the keys in my hand.” Based upon my interactions (or lack thereof) with him the past four hours, I highly doubt I will hear from him at all. I already suspect that I will have to call Aaron when he returns to work on Tuesday. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and totally disappointed. More

I can always trust and rely Renton Honda, I live in Burien but I prefer to drive all the way to Renton to have my car check. I was with Honda since 2001, I never service the car to any , that’s the way I value, Honda nation expertise ,staff are very accommodating and easy to understand any situation I have with my car, my car is any , that’s the way I value, Honda nation expertise ,staff are very accommodating and easy to understand any situation I have with my car, my car is 16 years old and still keep driving around, thanks to good service , KUDOs to everybody, Thank you More

I brought my 2017 Honda Civic for an oil change in January to the Bellevue Dealership and as the oil was being changed/replaced for the regular maintenance of the car, one of the service techs came to January to the Bellevue Dealership and as the oil was being changed/replaced for the regular maintenance of the car, one of the service techs came to me and said that the oil pan had been compromised due to the last time it has been completed. This oil change before the January 2022 oil change was completed at the Renton dealership in June of 2021. A week later after my oil change at the Bellevue dealership in January, I returned to the Bellevue dealership because my car was leaking oil because of the most recent oil change and the oil pan needed to be replaced. The total bill was $1700. After the oil pan was replaced, I returned to the Renton dealership and the Service Manager for the Renton dealership stated that this was the Bellevue's dealer responsibility and did not take any ownership or accountability for this. I also explained the situation to the Bellevue Service Manager and he stated that I should call the Honda customer service line. I explained I already had done this. Neither dealership is taking ownership or responsibility for this. Now, as a customer who has purchased three Hondas from the Bellevue of Honda Dealership will be purchasing a Honda ever again. More
