I normally have a lot of anxiety about bringing a vehicle to the dealership service department. As a female, I have had really bad experiences with unscrupulous service managers trying to have work done that to the dealership service department. As a female, I have had really bad experiences with unscrupulous service managers trying to have work done that was unnecessary to increase my cost. Autonation Honda Renton is NOT that dealership. Each visit is easy and clear. The service managers are helpful and honest. My last visit (this week) was exemplary. I changed my appointment online but when I got to the dealership, the appointment could not be found. Service representative, Matthew Lopez, looked at the schedule and was able to get me in right then. He was very clear in what needed to happen, detailing the cost so there were no surprises, and offered options where they were available. I was able to wait in the spacious and clean waiting room while the service was done. He checked in on me periodically to let me know what the status was. I am so happy that I can rely on this dealership to help me maintain my vehicle, safely and in a way that I can plan for the financial aspects. I have a huge thank you for Matthew since I never did find the email for the appointment change and yet he helped me with smile and a helpful heart. More
Very unsatisfactory. Very angry! I was told the service would cost approximately $900. I pre-authorized $1,000. When my car was ready it came to over $1,400. Service Mgr, Very angry! Service Mgr, Ivan was able to reduce the charge to $1,172 but said he might be able to get it lower. Said he would call me later that or I could call him. No call from him so I called him back, three times! He wouldn’t take my calls! I knew this would happen. I told my friends I hate to go to Honda for service as I never get out of there for less than $1,000 even if all I wanted was an oil change. But this was a specific issue and I felt I had no choice. Never again! More

Renton Auto Nation's service department has outstanding customer service attributed to your service manager, Bill Ackerman and former service representative Bill Shipley. I have been a repeat customer sinc customer service attributed to your service manager, Bill Ackerman and former service representative Bill Shipley. I have been a repeat customer since 1989 which affirms my satisfaction with the work performed on all 3 Hondas I have owned. I appreciate the detailed explanation of the service needed and ensuring the repairs are done correctly. Bill Ackerman has always been honest in his appraisal of what work needs to be done on my car, the time involved, and if possible provide alternative transportation if servicing required an overnight stay. I have no reservation in stating Bill and this dealership should receive the highest commendation and strive to retain their customers as CFL's (Customers for Life). More
