This dealership placed a mandatory $2196 over the MSRP of unwanted options on the car I agreed to purchase. They stated if I don't purchase the options, they won't sell the car to me and that they are “standard” (read: mandatory) for every car they sell. Those additional fees are not negotiable and you can’t opt out of them. They did this to me after they made me wait almost 6 months betting on the fact that I would not back out of the purchase and I would fall for their predatory sales tactics. Mind you, the original agreement was to purchase $2500 worth of accessories from them for my new Odyssey - I was happy to pay for extra stuff, just not the things they were forcing on me. Talk about penny wise, pound foolish. Beware of Jenny G. (sales person) who will make promises she can’t keep, tell you a handful of stories only to come up with excuses only to exert their predatory sales tactics. Beware of Patricia (sales manager) who won't listen and will talk over you. You have to question the ethics of a place where the managers are out to exploit the customers counting on the fact that the customers will capitulate to their predatory price gouging. Unless you like hassles, I guarantee you you're going to regret shopping here, and that comes from a returning customer whose entire family was buying cars from for years. And if you end up in the same spot as me, be sure to voice your complaint to Honda Motor Corporation to tell them how this dealership taints their brand and steers customers to other brands. As to the glowing reviews from others - luckily for them the service reviews are mixed with sales reviews so that’s how they ended up with almost 3K reviews, most of them highly helping them drown out the other bad shopping experiences from the reviews. We've been longtime customers for both new cars and service. Service department is now a disaster -- total turnover in staff, little attention from customer service tech. That was the first and the last experience I will ever have with these dishonest people. They have denied me of my rightful claim. They have refused me by appraising lot less than what my car actually worth and I lost $3000 by exchanging the car I just bougth with a different car. On top of that I did not get treated respectfully, their sale manager Michael was very rude and unfriendly, making all kinds of uncomfortable gestures which I found offensive. I must mention their service manager Ray. He was the only reasonable and respected person and I appreciate his help. Overall I am dissappointed and unhappy with this dealer and I am not going back any time soon in foreseeable future. I give them ZERO STAR More
