I purchased my car from O'Hare Honda about four years ago. Every time I go back to the service department, I get great customer service. I always ask for Mark Ashkan, and he takes good care of me. Everyo ago. Every time I go back to the service department, I get great customer service. I always ask for Mark Ashkan, and he takes good care of me. Everyone there is very friendly, and I've never wanted to take my car anywhere else. The quality of service is well worth the price, which is fair and reasonable. Usually, I just go in for an oil change or routine maintainence. Recently, I brought my car in for a flat tire. They fixed it for very cheap, and all my questions were answered and concerns addressed. I never felt like I was being ripped off, and I have been ripped off at other places. More

When i was ready i approached Shahbaz leaving with a new honda accord. The staff was very friendly and polite. They didnt hassle me when i walked in. When i was ready i approached Shahbaz Sheikh. My car is 8 years old and for 7 1/2 of them I had it serviced at the competition. I was refered to O'Hare Honda and am disappointed in myself for having spent 7 1/2 years at a neighboring Honda dealer serviced at the competition. I was refered to O'Hare Honda and am disappointed in myself for having spent 7 1/2 years at a neighboring Honda dealer that doesn't even compare to the quality service and friendliness of the entire O'Hare Honda staff! From the Service Advisor (Ryan), to the mechanic, to the girl who checked me out, to the guy who put the fluids in my car to the staff member who held the door for me as I left. This group works as a team and makes me feel comfortable servicing my car at O'Hare Honda. And it gets better, the first time I took my car in for repairs, they drove me home because they thought the service was going to take longer then expected, then when I came to pick up my car, and it needed more time to repair, they offered me a loaner, and it wasn't a tin can, it was a car similiar to what I was accustomed to driving, all that took the sting out of my car not being ready. They truly care that I am happy!! Don't think twice, check out O'Hare Honda and ask for Ryan Durso because he is AWESOME! O'Hare is lucky to have the caring staff that they have because separately and together they create a WOW experience, and it all starts with Ryan. More

I went through truecar.com to get a quote on a 2011 CRV LX 4WD. Richard sent me a quote for 20,040 for the car and a breakdown of all the fees/taxes. When I got his email I was at another Honda dealership( LX 4WD. Richard sent me a quote for 20,040 for the car and a breakdown of all the fees/taxes. When I got his email I was at another Honda dealership(McGrath Honda) and asked the salesman to match the price or beat it. The salesman told me that the quote that Richard gave me was for a 2WD LX and there is no way they are selling the 4WD model for that price. He suggested that I call Richard and confirm the quote. I called Richard and he verified the quote was for a 4WD LX. So then I drove 30minutes down to see Richard @ O'Hare Honda and was received with the worst customer service imaginable. 1.) Richard wasn't available to see me. Instead I was introduced to another salesman(Stan). After a 15 minute check of the inventory Stan tells me there are no LX 4WDs in stock. At this point I'm losing my cool because when I called in the morning there were THREE 4WD LX's in stock and I had verified that there were 2 in stock 30 minutes before arriving. It was a classic bait-and-switch. Stan had clearly weathered this situation before and played the clueless salesman role well. He tried to pitch the EX model to me and I told him I wasn't interested. He then asked me to sit down at his desk and he would help me find a 4WD LX. Ok, I sit and wait for about 10 minutes before Stan shows up with a credit application. Why the hell would I fill out a credit application when he hasn't shown me a single car yet? I tell Stan I am not interested in filling out a credit app and he disappears for a few minutes. After waiting for 3 more minutes I go to find Stan, thank him for his time, and leave. When I got back to McGrath Honda one of the sales people guessed and explained exactly what happened. If O'Hare doesn't have a car in stock they give a lowball price on a car that doesn't exist to bring a customer in. Then they give you a line about selling the last one and you can't be outraged that they won't honor the quote because they have no car to sell you. Then they try to upsell you. It was a HORRIBLE experience that wasted 2 hours of my day. I'm absolutely disappointed that they lied about the quote was real and that they had cars in inventory when I called to confirm. What a waste of my time. More
Relative to the other dealerships I visited, O'Hare (and particular Shahbaz) was the easiest to work with and most enthusiastic about selling a car. There was no "salesman" pitch, and their price was right particular Shahbaz) was the easiest to work with and most enthusiastic about selling a car. Mary was very friendly and helpful in answering questions. She called me after I purchased my car to make sure I was satisfied. The only thing that concerned me was that I had to wait to talk to a sales representative for about 20-25 minutes past my appointment time. I wasn't originally supposed to be with Mary but some other person through my online contact. I was not aware that the lady was not going to be there despite the appointment I had made. That was a little disappointing. However, the replacement was great. Mary and Sam was helpful. I love my new car! More
I purchased a used Honda Accord from a non-Honda I purchased a used Honda Accord from a non-Honda dealership back in 2004. During a routine oil change at a random shop, they told me I needed a new alternator belt. I decided to take my car to an actual Honda dealership to have the experts look at my car, so I went to Ohare Honda. Unfortunately, there was a laundry list of services my car needed (keep in mind my car had well over 100,000 miles on it and until this point everything was great). Mark Ashkan was my service rep who explained in detail and SHOWED me what was wrong with my car. He brought me over to my car and had me look at the places/parts on/under the car that needed repair and compared it to another Honda so I could see what it should look like or how it should work. That was really important to me since I don't know a lot about cars, and I'm always afraid I'm going to get ripped off with unnecessary services/parts. Mark made notes to all the service items in understandable lingo that I could understand, and he made notes to the services that I should make a priority. It would be expensive! I asked Mark if he thought I would be better off buying a new car. Mark introduced me to Mary Rycerz in sales, and she gave me an overview of all the cars in stock. She suggested we set up a time to talk more in depth about the CR-V that quickly caught my attention. I had a couple appointments with Mary, and each appointment was very pleasant. I never felt pressured into doing anything and she was informative of the product and very responsive to my emails. I had sent her emails about other small suv's in the competition and asked her why I should buy the Honda CR-V. She always responded with reasons and comparison charts on what the CR-V had and the competition didn't have. Our test drives were fun- not only did she point out all the gadgets that the CR-V had, but she pointed out a few things that a women would love! "You could put your purse here and your cell phone there..." How could that not excite me! Of course, she pointed out the important stuff, "the back seats go down for your dog, and the CR-V has more horsepower and room than the Escape.." I'm really happy Mary was my sales rep- she KNOWS what she's doing. I will definitely tell anyone I know that might be thinking of buying a car, to go see Mary. The purchasing moment of the car wasn't so bad either! Mary and her manager gave me the selling price of the car and compared it to the bluebook price. Clearly, I was getting a deal. I sat with Sam S. who carefully but painlessly went through all the paperwork. Sam explained the importance of each document in a way that was understandable to a young lady who was purchasing her first new car. I made the decision to purchase the 2011 CR-V, and 6 months in- my car still smells brand new every time I get in! I'm very happy with my decision to purchase the car, and feel lucky to have worked with such kind and knowledgeable people at Ohare Honda. More
