AutoNation Honda O’Hare

This is only my second vehicle purchase experience in my life. I owned my last vehicle for 14 years until it was considered a "total loss" after I was rear ended. I was dreading the day of purchasing my next vehicle. I did extensive research and decided the Honda CR-V was the perfect choice. I knew a crossover SUV was the type of vehicle we wanted and the CR-V has consistently been rated #1, especially in regards to reliability, which was the most important thing for me considering I keep my vehicles. Also, I decided to take the guesswork out of the experience and go with a brand that has a reputation for reliability. I first interacted with Gina telephonically to discuss the purchase. This went smooth, and I received a great price. Next, I came into the dealership and Gina referred me to Derek. Derek did a fantastic job of answering my questions honestly and allowing me to test drive the CR-V. The offer was upheld and O'Hare Honda did not up-sell me anything. This dreaded experience ended up not being dreadful at all. Great dealership, and I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks a lot O'Hare Honda, especially Gina and Derek. More

I was impressed that upon my first meeting with him, he was very well informed of my car needs and budget for purchasing a car. Mary had obviously clearly communicated our conversations and Michael was well prepared to assist me. Michael was able to complete the purchase in a very painless manner. I felt comfortable with him and felt that he listened to what I needed and stayed within my budget. Even though the dealership was busy, we were able to get the wonderful assistance of a salesperson named Ziggy. He was very friendly and helpful every step of the way. He carefully explained all the features of the vehicle we were interested in (Civic). We went for a test drive and were quite impressed with the car. That was followed up by a great deal on the vehicle with extremely low financing too. Overall, it was a smooth and hassle-free purchasing experience. The only minor complaint we had was the pressure to purchase an extended warranty for the vehicle. We did not purchase it and the business manager expressed his displeasure with that decision. However, he was still relatively polite about it and I know from experience that virtually all dealers make an aggressive push to sell extended warranties. I would definitely recommend anyone in the market for a Honda to visit the O'Hare location! More
