I've gotten over 10 emails from this dealership requesting my feedback. I was waiting for them to make things right, but as they don't appear interested in doing that, here's the honest review. requesting my feedback. I purchased a used car on July 9, and have driven it less than 100 miles because of all the issues and problems I've had. The day I bought it, I arrived home and attempted to parallel park in front of my condo. As I was backing up, the car started shuddering like it wasn't getting gas or power. Surprised, I drove it around the block and the same thing started happening every time I turned. This didn't happen on the test drive, so what the heck was going on? Is it power steering issues? Transmission? Who knows. I called the dealership and was transferred [and disconnected] multiple times; 'that's a problem for sales' 'that's for finance' - no one wanted to help. Finally, I was sent to Char, who is amazing. I explained the issue and said I didn't feel safe driving the car. She said she'd arrange for a tow back to the dealership [it's near ORD and I live downtown, so it's not close]. A few days later, the car was towed. They said that it was bent tire rods, which were replaced under the 3-month, 4,000 mile warranty the car came with. However, when I picked up the car, the issue was still there. Back it went to the service department. Someone looked at it, and this time they said I needed new axels, new wheel bearings, and a new AC fan and door lock actuator [noticed that the passenger side front door did not lock]. They worked with the warranty company and ended up repairing all of these things. Frank was great at keeping me updated throughout the process - he's the only one that seems to give a xxxx. I picked up the car again and test drove it around their rear parking lot. THE ISSUE WAS STILL THERE. I walked back in and told the service person that it's still not fixed; the mechanic who worked on my car this last round went on a test drive with me and immediately said oh, yeah, I definitely feel that, that's not good at all...I think it's either the transfer case or the differential. So I leave my car AGAIN [and pay for a $50 Lyft for the 6th time]. I get a call 2 days later, and they said the head mechanic checked it and said nothing is wrong, and if I think there's still a problem, I should take it to Cadillac. Um, what? The other mechanic said clearly there's an issue and now magically the car is completely fine? Magically, I think, because both of those issues are super expensive to fix, and I think they didn't want to deal with it. So I took the car home. I test drove a few other cars today because I'm sick of this hassle, and they checked out my car to value its trade in. The guy came up to me and said this car is 'wobbly', it's super dangerous to drive...I'll get you a Lyft home, that's how much I don't want you to drive it anywhere. Well, that's great. What do I do now? I have multiple unreturned calls to the Manager and Sales - shocker, once they have your money, they don't care about you any more. I have half a mind to start the chargeback process with my bank [paid with cash/debit card] because this is insanity. So, if you want a dealership that cares and will get back to you and try to help you after selling you a dangerous car, avoid ANHO. More
