TERRIBLE SERVICE, AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!!! PLEASE READ, DON'T LET WHAT HAPPENED TO ME, HAPPEN TO YOU!! I had the most terrible experience of my life with the service department over at the Au PLEASE READ, DON'T LET WHAT HAPPENED TO ME, HAPPEN TO YOU!! I had the most terrible experience of my life with the service department over at the Autonation Honda in Miami Lakes and honestly rating them 1 star, is too much. I was helped by a service advisor who I thank for actually trying to help me throughout this nightmare of an experience as a first time tier 1 owner of a Honda. I strongly suggest anyone that needs to service they're Honda to STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER, they do not want to help you, they make it extremely difficult and STEAL your money. They took advantage of my ignorance, and did nothing in their power to help whatsoever, specially HENRY the service manager. Not even American Honda did a thing for me. I leased a 2018 Honda Civic Si in May. Three weeks and 1,890 miles into my lease, my clutch got stuck as I was driving and smelled terribly burnt and the car then became immobile, therefore, I had to get it towed to the nearest Honda dealer, which turned out to be Autonation Honda of Miami Lakes and the worst mistake anyone can make. I also had to PAY for the tow that Roadside assistance should have covered according my lease agreement. The next day I get a call from the dealer and they immediately, without question, declared the damage as negligence and declaring that the warranty would not cover anything, and denied me all of my benefits of a rental car, which I had to pay $525 out of pocket for, or any kind of help I deserved considering being a first time owner with an excellent record and having the lease plan that I had, by just simply lifting the vehicle and VISUALLY DIAGNOSING IT. They didn't take apart the vehicle to confirm the damage or "negligence" from their so called "visual diagnostic" until I nagged about it for about a week. When the time came that they actually dismantled the vehicle and confirmed the "negligence", they showed me the damage on the clutch and it was simply INSANE, there was no possible way that in the time period that vehicle was in my possession, the intense clutch damage occurred. Impossible. I had other professional sources analyze the damage and they told me it was impossible that in the time the vehicle was used, no matter what treatment was given to such a technologically advanced and fully controlled/metered brand new car, it was impossible. While I was in the process of contacting Honda corporate (American Honda), the service manager HENRY called me with a sense of rush and hostility, telling me that I needed to do something about the vehicle asap because it had been a week that the it had been obstructing one of his lifts, which was never my intention because I wanted my vehicle out of there as much as he did, and made me feel responsible for the loss of money to the company. When I attempted to explain that we were in the process with corporate and thats why it was taking longer than normal, he spoke over me and wouldn't let me speak and when I asked him to let me speak, he said he didn't have to do so and as a professional myself that I work for an exotic car rental company, I know the importance of having proper and professional customer service, so that was entirely out of line, disrespectful, insulting, and unacceptable. He then gave me a call back telling me that they were going to put my vehicle back together and park it outside and to have it towed out there that same day that he refused to work on it and for me to figure it out. Minutes later my service advisor called me telling me he smoothed things out with HENRY and that they were going to give me a couple extra days to get the parts and fix the vehicle. Thats an all around unacceptable and terrible customer service from the MANAGER of the service department. How could I not feel hopeless? How could I not feel like I'm being robbed from the company Ii trusted to lease this vehicle from? After spending approximately $2,530 in parts and labor, it took over a week for parts to get to them. When they fixed the clutch, the mechanic said that the gear was grinding and that another gear wouldn't go into place correctly, meaning they now how to dismantle the transmission again only to find the I had to spend another $1,200 in only parts, waiting another two weeks after having ordered them through them, totaling an entire month wait that I was not able to use my car that I purchased in May while still making that monthly payment. To top it all off, when I finally received my vehicle I found scratches on the roof and in a couple of other spots, the car was dirty and dusty inside, and it was entirely empty on gas. As the day went by and I was arriving home, I heard something scrapping on the ground and when I get off to check, the metal plate that covers the bottom of the vehicle and transmission was flapping and scrapping on the ground because someone forgot two screws. How am I supposed to feel comfortable that they did a good job repairing my vehicle if there were missing screws? How do I feel safe knowing that its a possibility they forgot an important screw? Honestly, the most terrible month of my life, mentally and financially. I felt that I was taken advantage of by such a HUGE CORPORATION that claims to be one of the #1 place to go get yourself a new car. They were extremely rude, unhelpful and left me hopeless with an empty wallet. I hope this helps anyone going through something similar in this horrible dealer. I don't want another person taken advantage of. More

The sales person Ali was exelent at doing his part, getting the cars i wanted to test and what not. After finally agreeing to the car price, went over to speak with the Finance department in this case i spoke to Jeff. upon reviewing all the papers and getting my additional coverage pvc which included 10 included oil changes and tire rotations. i was able to take my car home. Two days go buy i get a call from Jeff (finance department) told me they were able to lower my montly payments and i had to go back to the dealer to sign a new contract. Went to the dealer and i i signed all the new paperwork and JEFF told me everything was the same nothing had changed. all good till that point. Fast forward till 11/14 i went for my first oil change that should be coverd with the plans i got. well, when i got there the service department told me i didnt have the plan. i showed them all the paper work i had. Still they told me i didnt have it. they took me to the finance department where i was greeted by a different finance manager i explained to him and told me that upon signing my new contract they had taken all the extra plans i had decided to purschse back when i had purchased the car. Basically they didnt want to accept the fault that they did not tell what they had taken the plans i got and lied to my face. then in this same visit sales manager frank carcamo comes around and then still does not admit fault of nothing told me i still had to pay for my oil changes and services because thats how life is. another manager at one point laughed at me and walked out. Very rude finance team that didnt do atleast something to help understand my side of things.! these people lied to me for no reason, because i would had been fine if they told me they needed to take some things away from my finance. Stay away from this dealer, better off to take your money somewhere else, where atleast they are not trying to scam you in a little or big way. More

I brought my vehicle(2008 Civic ,29558 mileages,Honda manufacture specs still in place ) to this Honda dealer on July/2013 for just an oil change. They recommended the transmission flush service and I we manufacture specs still in place ) to this Honda dealer on July/2013 for just an oil change. They recommended the transmission flush service and I went along with it. BIG MISTAKE!. unbeknown to me at the time ,they overflowed the transmission case above the dipstick level marks(way up).To make this nightmare story short ,I had to bring the vehicle back to this dealer twice, they changed the water pump, belt tensioner, belt an engine mount for a grand total 0f $1717.56.The service advisors were evasive and dismissive of my questions as to why? for all this problems since I have been maintaining my Civic service up to date thru the years at Hollywood Honda without ever confronting any of this emergency repairs. As anybody can see, my car problems are eerily similar to what the previous Honda customer had to face in this place. Coincidence or a trend?. Now, my car has vibrations from the brake pedal up to the steering wheel that I never had before since I bought it brand new from Hollywood Honda back in 2008.NOT a good place to bring your car for service or repairs, but that's just my opinion. I had a honda civic for many years. I serviced it religiously at maroone honda of miami. Let me tell you, they screwed up my car. They over flowed the coolant and i noticed too late. Multiple visits religiously at maroone honda of miami. Let me tell you, they screwed up my car. They over flowed the coolant and i noticed too late. Multiple visits because they could not find the reason for overheating. Yet they continued to charge! Car would not start on another brand new honda accord, they changed the battery only to be back there again!!! for the same reason! Beware of service advisor Jose. That guy is a true con. You will go in for an oil change and next thing you know youll be driving your car out having changed the motor mounts and having paid $300 plus dollars!!!!! a true con artist! Tasha is there just to warm up the sseats. She has no clue about cars, yet, she will be the most unhelpful person. However, watch out for Jose Alamo and the shop foreman. Shop foreman has no education and manners at all! They will take you to the cleaners after giving you major attitude!!! Will never go back there again!!!!!!!! More
