My husband made an appointment to take my 2019 Civic in to replace the engine splash shield. Our service representative was Ashlyn Krueger. She said she would call back with cost information. She never called back and the service department did not pick up when I called. The car arrived about 20 minutes early to the dealership and my husband again asked for cost information, but Ashlyn could not provide any. My husband was told the service would take about an hour and a half. After an hour and a half, my husband checked to see when the car would be done and was told an hour. He went to lunch and came back 30 minutes later. After another 30 minutes, he again asked when the car would be done. He was then told that the part was not in stock but on back order. What a waste of time! We had dubious service last time and didn't leave a rating, but this was total incompetence. We still have not received a call that the part is in stock. Update: we were told that the part was not available at any nearby Honda dealership and that it was being ordered for us. Not true. Calling back, we were told the part hadn't been ordered for us and we'd have to pay for the part in advance. Called another dealership and learned they had the part and could install it for less than AutoNation quoted. AutoNation has completely lost our future business. Sad, because until the last two visits we had received excellent service. More
I took our 2020 Honda CRV for oil change, tire rotation, and brake line flush. Because I don’t trust these places, I marked my tires before going in. When I got home, I noticed the tires had not been rota and brake line flush. Because I don’t trust these places, I marked my tires before going in. When I got home, I noticed the tires had not been rotated so I returned and got a refund. I then wondered if the mechanic reinstalled my air filter after checking it so I popped the hood and my wife notice immediately that he didn’t snap the battery cap down on the terminal – not a big deal but what a lack of attention to detail. Last week, I noticed a patch of oil under the car so I swiped my hand on the under plate and it was covered in oil. I removed the plate and there was a pool of oil on top of it and there was a drop of oil on the plug. I was able to tighten the plug at least a half turn. This is pure incompetence on the part of the mechanic. This is the first time in over 25 years I taken my car in for an oil change instead of doing it myself. Never again. More
Worst experience I had today at Auto Nation Honda Lewisville. Customers beware, Don’t be any kind of Tire or tire service from them. I am very old customer of Autonation and I will never ever give my Lewisville. Customers beware, Don’t be any kind of Tire or tire service from them.
