I had an appointment for A1 service for my my 2022 Civic. When I arrived for my appoinment, I was ignored for over 10 min, while customers who arrived after me were helped. Once Cynthia Cortez began helping me, she was immediately combative and told me that James would be taking care of me from here on out (i.e., before I had said anything more than, "Hello," to her). She refused to accept the mileage I told her, demanding to see it for herself. Once she did, she stated, "Huh." She then told me it would be 3 hr for an oil change, wagging her finger at me that she had to help the people with appointments. I reminded her that I did, in fact, have an appointment, and that an oil change and tire rotation typically took about an hour and a half. She again lectured me while wagging her finger at me that I should have come in a different day. She then told me I could leave and pick-up my car later, using the shuttle. I said that wouldn't really work and I would wait. She then provided her tablet for me to approve service, which I reminded her should be A1, including a tire rotation. When my car was ready nearly 3 hr later, I noticed the tires weren't rotated. I asked James if the tires were rotated and he said they weren't and asked if I requested that. I stated I requested A1 service, which includes a tire rotation. He asked if he checked me in and if I would be willing to pay for tire rotation. I told him of course I would be willing to pay for tire rotation and Cynthia checked me in but told me he would be "taking care of me." He said he could probably get me in but he didn't know how long it would take. More
Cynthia Cortez is the definition of great customer service. She's by far the best service advisor I've had. She kept me updated without me having to ask. We’re unhappy with a Lewisville Honda interaction for 4 reasons: 1. Bad repair 2. Unfairly charge us $169.95 3. Stolen power inverter 4. Would not respond to our calls In July we drove our Odyssey f reasons: 1. Bad repair 2. Unfairly charge us $169.95 3. Stolen power inverter 4. Would not respond to our calls In July we drove our Odyssey from Illinois to FlowerMound to visit family for a week; smelled gas very strong, so took to Lewisville Honda on the Monday. We stated strong gas smell and if they can fix the sliding door this week we want that done. Stated same in multiple additional conversations during the week… if the door can be fixed this week we want that done. Fast forward to Friday afternoon: fuel pump fixed under recall, but door is not fixed and Lewisville Honda wants a $169.95 diagnostic fee. We drove it to FlowerMound Friday evening and packed for our 12 hour drive back to IL. Saturday morning we drove half mile and car stalls out, as fuel line retention clip is not secure and has popped off the fuel pump. Fuel was pouring all over the street in a small river. Lewisville Honda sent a wrecker, but did not give priority to the simple fix, while knowing we need to drive 12 hours that day. We’re not on the road to IL until 2.30pm…. for a 12 hour drive! Once under way, we realized either Lewisville Honda or their preferred wrecker stole our power inverter that morning. Then we could not charge phones on the 12 hour drive. Lewisville Honda would not respond to our repeated attempts to call and discuss what happened. We appreciate they did eventually get the fuel problem fixed, they gassed it up, and Cynthia was pleasant to talk with. But for the 4 reasons mentioned above, Lewisville Honda gets a thumbs down. More
