On September 15, 2021. I had an issue with my car's air-condition. I took my car to Hollywood AutoNation Honda and where I filled out a form for a shuttle service as I only have one vehicle and just wa air-condition. I took my car to Hollywood AutoNation Honda and where I filled out a form for a shuttle service as I only have one vehicle and just wanted to drop off the vehicle. I asked the service representative how long would this process take as it was 11:30 am at the time and I expressed I would need my vehicle back at the end of the day. I was told since it's early that should be possible, but to be sure contacted the service advisor scheduled to work on the car (Carlos Castro) to confirm, as expected he said he would have to assess the vehicle but will reach out me via phone once assessed. At approximately 1pm I received a call from Mr. Castro and he explain I would be able to get my car back the same day, if anything else changes I will be contacted. I never received that call. At approximately 5pm I contacted the dealership and selected the option "status of vehicle" and after a very long wait a representative answered and informed me that they could not find anything wrong with my air-conditioning so, they will be trying again tomorrow. At this point I am upset that this was not communicated to me earlier, I asked if I could pick up the car as I need it for today. She said yes and disconnected the call. I called back because I need the shuttle to pick me up to collect my vehicle. The same representative known as Kai, a black female, answered and explained can you please arrange for the shuttle to pick me up so I can collect the vehicle. She told me to please hold. I called at 5:20 p.m. and remained on hold for 40 minutes. I kept that line open while I redialed the dealership's number again and selected the same option (vehicle status) and there was no response. All this time I was still on hold with Kai on the other line hoping she would get back to me. I eventually called again selecting a different option and this time it was the sales department, and they informed me that the shuttle service was done for today their shift ends at 5pm. I asked to speak with a supervisor which he transferred the call. The supervisor was not empathetic at how this was handled and (I am still on hold with Kai) and told I could come pick up the car. I asked will I be compensated for the Uber that I will now have to obtain; I was mockingly laughed at followed by the word "no". While still on hold with Kai, the Uber driver came and dropped me off (still on hold), I asked for the manager whose name is Marco, and I showed him the phone call that I am still on with where the representative told me to "please hold" upon walking to the customer service desk she was there playing with her phone as the phone remained unanswered. Marco's (the Supervisor/manager) response was you "You never got back to the customer" Kai responded "I thought you took care of it" and made hand gestures and facial expressions that indicated she did not care and proceeded to play with her phone. Marco apologized, but that did not appease me. This whole situation could have been avoided had the advisor communicated with me that the car will not be ready today , how would you like to proceed? I was not given that option. Fine, second Kai could have simply told me that shuttle service was done for that day, it would not have been her fault would have been okay. However it is the poor level of customer service and nonchalant attitude of the representative Kai to employees that I found very disrespectful. What's worse is that I am not the only one who feels that way about AutoNation Hollywood in Florida. The reviews online speak for themselves. I will not be going back to this location due to lack of communication, poor customer service and lack of empathy after everything that encountered. Rick case Honda and Holman Honda was nothing like this at all. It's a shame that I will have to drive 10-15 miles out to these dealerships when Hollywood Honda is just 7 mins away. More
